Love Ellie slayage How was the concert? Did you enjoy? I heard she can be pretty hit and miss live, but she sounded amazing at the Grammys a couple of weeks ago. Hope you had a great time!!
Great to see Army so high, it's one of her best songs IMO, surprised Love Me Like You Do didn't get a re-entry though.

Great to see Piece By Piece I'm loving the new version, it's stunning

Great to see so many good songs on your chart (as always). Glad you’re finally coming around on the Fifth Harmony train ;) Work From Home is such a bop, are there any new releases you’ll enjoy over the next week? Great to see ‘Stone Cold’ – easily the best single this era so far, so powerful vocally and much more *her* than her previous singles – even if it is oversung.

            • I just checked out your #1, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. It was a bit strange.

Some very solid Ellie singles here! The only ones missing from my list of Ellie favourites are "The Writer" and "Love Me Like You Do".

              1 (1) Kerli – Feral Hearts

                • Yeees at the #2 for Jamie

Amazing #4 entry for Fifth Harmony!

I'm already a bit over the Tinie/Zara collab, but I hope I get into it again.

Amazed to see Kelly re-enter! Absolutely awesome to see the era going on like this.

Interesting to see "Stressed Out" enter now I still need to listen to their albums! I just checked out "Car Radio" off their second album, and it's surprisingly very pop/electronic

                  Love your charts as always

I fell in love with her again due to her concert. Also found my love for "Delirium"

Nice chart! Loving some of those Ellie songs! Not keen on the Dancey ones though! Good for Stone Cold. People either seem to love that one or hate it. Work from home is actually good!
With dancey ones you mean the ones by Calvin? Also surprised you don't like "Burn" but really glad you like all those other Ellie songs
To be honest i really disliked "Stone Cold" on the first few listens. I thought she screamed too much on it. Now i think it's beautiful, and she nails it live!
Yay for "Work From Home". It's so catchy

Ellie concert effect is huge. I love her last album but not really familiar with her previous material apart from the singles.

Aww for the drop of Gwen. Hope it'll grow on you.

On the album charts, Ellie (Delirium), Foxes, Sia, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor, Adele and Charlie albums are my favorite. Great charts overall
Glad you like these new entries
Yes. Concerts usually have a huge effect on my charts, but she also already released several big hits that definitely helped a lot. I think "Halcyon" is awesome, you should check it out if you've got some time left

Not sure about Gwen. Maybe as soon as the album comes out? I'm currently not into the song at all (anymore...)
Glad you like so many albums! And thanks a lot

Glad to see that "Habits" + "Talking Body" were both Top 10 hits here! On my chart: "Habits" = No. 11, 8wks ; "Talking Body" = No. 2, 13wks ; "Timebomb" = No. 4, 7 weeks. I also really like "My Gun", which went all the way to No. 1.
Thanks for checking "Walking On Air" out & very glad you liked the video!
Oh kinda surprised "Habits" wasn't a bigger hit. Do you prefer the original or the remix? I thought the remix was weak and was surprised to see that one smashing in many countries. Need to re-listen to "My Gun", i can't remember it right now...

Ha, you really don't care for "On My Mind" You mentioned something about it over on my chart, and now it wasn't even re-entry-worthy here. I think it's alright, I'm glad that it gave her another decent-sized hit in the US + UK, but it's far from being one of my favorites on Delirium.
                    • Awesome debut for "Work From Home" - and exciting that it earns Fifth Harmony their first-ever Top 10 hit here! I've been loving "Work From Home" lately too, so it'll definitely debut high on my next chart. I've liked pretty much all of their singles, but my favorite would probably be "Sledgehammer."
                    • Nice Top 10 re-entry for "Piece By Piece"! That AI performance Such a great example of how moving and powerful a performance can be when the artist is truly connected to his/her material. What's Kelly's biggest hit on your chart so far?
                    • RIP "Work."

                    Yet another fierce chart, Tansike!
Glad you like Ellie's invasion Yes, she did a very good show, i was positively surprised. She didn't sound too good at first when it comes to her vocals but it got better after a few songs. Other than that, i was surprised how good her show was. I know she already scored a few hits, but filling out a 12k+ hall in Switzerland is still a pretty big thing, and i wasn't sure if she could put on a show for such a big audience but she did and she did it better than expected Haha yeah. I thought "On My Mind" could grow on me due to the concert but it didn't, it was even one of the weakest moments of that evening and i still skip it while listening to her stuff.

I'll check your charts out tomorrow, but i'm glad to hear "Work From Home" is going to debut there! It's great and so addictive "Sledgehammer" is awesome too, unfortunately i didn't care for it when they released it and only got into it after getting into "Worth It" (which was the reason why i got their album...)
The AI performance was soooooooo gooooood One of the best performances i've ever seen! I'm glad she also made the Top10 on the Hot100 (also #8 ).
Her biggest hit is "Never Again", followed by... surprise, surprise... "Invincible"! "Mr. Know It All" comes third. Her real most successful single would be "Breakaway" but i can't find the charts i wrote down pre-2007

                    Thanks a lot <3

The Kerli slayage continues. I haven't listened to Feral hearts as much this week. You can blame a certain Mrs Clarkson for that though. Kerli should still secure herself a place in my top 10 though this weekend.
                      Hey
Yes! Still loving the song, even if the competiton was a bit stronger this week. Well i'm already VERY happy that she made it onto your charts for one week, everything more is a big plus

I was reading your commentary and so is this the German entry for Eurovision? Was this Jamie-Lee's winners single on The voice?
Yes to both! She won The Voice Of Germany last december with "Ghost", and now it's also the german entry for ESC this year, just a little different version (as it was longer than three minutes)

I'm gonna give this another couple of listens to make up my mind if i like this more than Worth it, or not. I'm quite unsure which song i like more, maybe i just like both the same.
Well i think both are a bit similar, don't you think so too?

Tinie Tempah seems to have a knack at making great tracks. I've already listened to Girls like a few times this week but i actually think Turn the music louder (rumble) is a better track but that said, this is still a top 10 contender and might be a slow burner that becomes a big hit in my chart.
"Girls Like" is such an earworm! I hope it's a hit, not only in the UK, but everywhere in Europe. I need that Zara album like NOW

Well, the music video is now on Youtube which i only discovered last weekend. A shame the music video couldn't have been something really special but its got listening to the song again, and its such a great song. Could well be making a return to my chart this weekend.
I didn't watch the whole video as it's another tour video, which is kinda disappointing. Plus a song as good as this does deserve a better one, but it seems to be 'in' to put out a 'lazy' video (Justin Bieber, for example). That's great, i hope it did it

Aww, i wondered if this would go top 5. Needless to say, Piece by piece is definitely going to peak higher in my chart. I've been addicted to this song, and i've even found myself listening to the album version too. Amazing how a bit of promo on tv can do wonders for an album track (turned single).
While i think the performance was one of the best performances i've ever seen, the song itself remains weak for her standards IMO. I'm glad they released the piano version, which is better than the original one. But "Invincible" remains her best single in this era for me But, i'm very glad she got another hit with this of course. She deserves all the success.

Burn was one of my early #1 singles from when i first started writing my own chart, and I need your love was incredible. I hadn't started my own chart when this was in the charts but it was one of my favourite songs of 2013.
Great ranks I'm actually over "Army" and "Explosions" a bit so i'm okay their last. "I Need Your Love" used to be huge for me (#2 on the YEC 2013) so i love to see you like it that much. "Burn" was awesome too.

great reentry for Kelly! would've liked top 5 tho so it'd help with the ukmix parade

                      great entry for 5h!

interesting you count hd and halcyon as separate albums! I always think of them as the same album even tho they both have very different vibes (and halcyon is far superior)
Of course i know that She was surprisingly good, yes. Well, my bf didn't like her at all (vocally and overall ). I was afraid if she would be able to put a great show for a whole evening or not, but she did
Haha yeah but she still made it to #1 on the Parade Don't expect her to be much more successful though. While i LOVE that performance SO MUCH, the song remains a bit weak to me....

Glad you like Fifth Harmony's new single as well.
Oh i'm usually doing this for all re-releases, or at least for most of them. Also, "Halcyon Days" is available as a seperate album/EP with just the new tracks, so i thought it was fair to count it as a seperate album on my charts

Yes, i enjoyed it a lot! I'm still a bit amazed even if it's been over a week ago <3 She was a bit weak vocally at first, and i was afraid the concert would be a bad/weak one, but after a few songs she started to be on fire and then she put on an amazing show! Yes i did, thanks
I'm sorry but "Love Me Like You Do" is the worst thing she's ever done for me It was the last song on the set list so i also skipped that one

Yeah, the new version is so much better than the original one & the radio mix. I think the songs works better as a ballad than as a pop song.

Haha yeah i should've get into Fifth Harmony earlier... but "Work From Home" is awesome and i'm really excited for their second album now!
Not really, unfortunately. "No" by Meghan Trainor was the best thing that came out last friday and will make a good debut though. What about you?
Glad you love "Stone Cold"! I wasn't sure about it being a single at first but now i think it's a great choice. I hope it's a hit for her, but it doesn't look too good for her right now

Some very solid Ellie singles here! The only ones missing from my list of Ellie favourites are "The Writer" and "Love Me Like You Do".

Thanks for checking it out! I agree, it's a bit strange and has something Björk-ish. But i'm loving it Did you like the video?

"The Writer" is good, but somehow i never really got into Ellie's debut as much as i got into the follow-ups. And i'm sorry but "Love Me Like You Do" is her worst song by far for me...

Glad you like all those entries
I thought you probably expected Jamie to get a #1 comeback, but i'm glad you're happy with that #2 return
Now i'm really excited for the ESC. She probably ends up being my fave (and all of my faves won in the past four years so i hope it's the same this year )

Same with me when it comes to "Girls Like", so it'll probably drop a few places this week. But it's still a cool track and i hope we get Zara's album soon
YES! I'm glad Kelly's got such a sudden success again, she deserves it.

I finally downloaded their album that's why "Stressed Out" only entered my charts now. I just didn't really care for it before. Their album "Blurryface" is really good

                        Thanks a lot

Oh didn't think about "Focus" so far but now that you mention it - yeah, it has some similarities! I'll check out the Keke Palmer song. I still remember her from that nickelodeon show... i think True Jackson was its name (at least over here in the german speaking countries, not sure if this was the name everywhere)

                                  • When I saw the title I though that Ellie would have like five songs in the top 10, but it turns out to be a rather feeble invasion imo. Anyway, I like "Something in the Way You Move" and "Army" so good to see it rise back into the top 10. "Burn" was the first Ellie song I listened to more than a couple of times back when it was released but I got tired of it quickly and it never reached my chart.

Not surprising to see Kerli get a second week at #1. I wish I would like the song more but haven't really tried yet due to being busy with other newly discovered songs...

                                    Great return for Jamie-Lee!

                                    • ^ haha yeah you're actually right. But she's still having lots of entries all over the charts, which is very rare for my charts these days. Without doing my research, i think her 'invasion' is even the second best concert effect ever. Or maybe third. The one for Within Temptation two years ago was the biggest, probably followed by Nightwish a few months ago.

Which is your most favorite song by Ellie Goulding, if you have one?

Oh no problem, already the fact that you actually checked it out & like the video means a lot to me And one can't like everything, and that's good that way.

                                      Glad you like Jamie-Lee's re-entry

week 10/2016 – 10 march 2016 No to Work From Home

                                        • Singles Top40

Kerli scores the first hit of the year with three weeks on top of the charts, as „Feral Hearts“ spends a third consecutive week at number one. There’s huge competition coming from Ariana Grande next week though, as the singer will most likely release her new single „Dangerous Woman“ tomorrow, and she’s very well known for scoring number one debuts on my charts, as seven songs from her debuted at number one. But Kerli’s closest rival this week came from a new entry as well, but someone who never scored a really big hit on my charts so far: Meghan Trainor! The singer released a new track called „No“, which serves as the lead single of her upcoming second studio album „Thank You“, which will be released in may. „No“ debuts at #2, which makes this immediately her highest peaking single to date, surpassing „Lips Are Movin’“ which peaked at #5 around a year ago. Fifth Harmony also get their first Top3 notation as „Work From Home“ climbs one position, up 4-3.

While last week was very busy with several new and re-entries, there are only three more new arrivals apart from Meghan Trainor this time. The second highest new entry just makes the Top20, as it’s coming in at #20. It’s „Never Be Like You“, a song by Flume featuring Kai, which already topped the charts in Australia. Swedish dance pop duo Icona Pop are back on the charts with their new single „Someone Who Can Dance“, which debuts at #29. Last but not least, DNCE are new at #36 with their first hit „Cake By The Ocean“.

After a stellar re-entry, Jamie-Lee Kriewitz’ „Ghost“ slips 2-4, followed by Alan Walker’s „Faded“ (3-5). Mike Posner’s „I Took A Pill In Ibiza“ remains at #6. There are two songs climbing into the Top10 for the first time, and one of them is „Stone Cold“ by Demi Lovato. While the singer just missed to make an entry in that territory, the song climbs 11-7 this week and becomes her ninth Top10 notation. The second one is Twenty One Pilot’s „Stressed Out“, which also debuted on the charts last week and increases 13-9 now as their very first Top10 hit. Filling out the Top10 are „Something In The Way You Move“ by Ellie Goulding, which gets certified with Gold this week (7-8), and Grimes’ „Kill V. Maim“ which returns 14-10.

Ellie Goulding’s concert effect is wearing off a bit, and so it’s not surprising to see some of her entries losing several positions and some of them already leaving the charts. More surprising is „Outside“, which still climbs one position compared to a week ago (15-14). Other than that, „Army“ (10-19), „I Need Your Love“ (22-26), „Burn“ (23-30) and „Explosions“ (31-38) are going down, while „Anything Could Happen“, „Figure 8“ and „Lights“ are already falling out of the Top40. Ellie’s opening act from the concert, Sara Hartman, is having a better week as both „Monster Lead Me Home“ (16-15) and „Stranger In A Room“ (37-33) are getting new peaks.

Lissie’s „Hero“ is the biggest climber (30-24), while Ellie Goulding’s „Army“, which was the biggest climber a week ago, is the biggest loser this week.

Ellie Goulding remains on top of the charts for another week, giving „Delirium“ a fourth non-consecutive week at number one. It’s the first album with more than three weeks on top since Nightwish spent ten non-consecutive weeks at #1 with „Endless Forms Most Beautiful“ last year. Twenty One Pilots only had a moderate debut with their album „Blurryface“ a week ago, but improve 8-2 now. Ellie’s second album „Halcyon“ closes the Top3 for another week, as it remains at #3.

Anette Olzon is up one position with the never-dying „Shine“ (5-4), followed by Amy Lee’s „Recover, Vol. 1“ EP which is back at its peak (6-5). There are three new entries on the charts, and while all of them made the Top10, none of them made a really big impact. The highest one comes from Anna Känzig, a singer from Switzerland, who recently released her third studio album „Sound And Fury“ which becomes her very first notation on my charts at #6. UK newcomer Låpsley is right behind Anna, as she debuts at #7 with her debut album „Long Way Home“. Both of them are making similar music. The third and final entry comes in at #9 and is Kendrick Lamar’s newly released „untitled unmastered.“. Lissie’s „My Wild West“ drops 4-8, while the early anticipation for Charli XCX’s „Vroom Vroom“ EP is gone now and it tumbles down 2-10 as the last entry in the Top10.

Carrie Underwood’s „Storyteller“ keeps on climbing, up 13-11 this week. Maybe it will be back into the Top10 next week? After a terrible drop last week, Kendrick Lamar’s album „To Pimp A Butterfly“ recovers a bit this week as it’s back up 18-13, mostly also due to his new release. Due to the new entries, two albums leave the upper half of the charts this week. Foxes’ „All I Need“ is down 7-12 in its fifth week, while Sia’s „This Is Acting“ falls 9-14 in its sixth week. Even worse is the drop for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis though, as their second album „This Unruly Mess I’ve Made“ debuted in the Top10 a week ago, but already leaves the charts this week.

Like all these! Ellie still hanging on (You see what I did there?). You mentioned last time that you were shocked I didn't like Burn. I think Burn is horrible, never liked it! Not a fan of any of her Dancey songs, she's better than that IMO and her voice is more suited on a less produced track. However I Need Your Love was a damn catchy at the time.

Faded and I Took a Pill both high, I think it's gonna be the same on the charts WW this year. Kill V. Maim Climbing back up!
