American Rock band Evanescence are not really known for putting out new music too often, but if they do, it’s usually a hit. They scored their first chart entry with Lithium in the second week of My Charts ever, in the second week of 2007, and topped the charts just a week after for four consecutive weeks. Every single ever since has reached the Top10, including further number one entries for Call Me When You’re Sober (2007), Lost In Paradise (2012), and Hi-Lo feat. Lindsey Stirling (2018). This list gets extended now, as Better Without You makes a stellar debut right at #1 following its video release. It’s already the fifth entry from their latest album The Bitter Truth, as it follows Wasted On You (#6), The Game Is Over (#7), Use My Voice (#3), and Yeah Right, that rises 6-4 for a re-peak this week.

Au/Ra & Alan Walker’s Dead Girl! (1-2) and Amir & Indila’s Carrousel (3-3) complete the Top3.

Other new and re-entries this week: Bebe Rexha just announced her second full-length studio album Better Mistake for an early May release and while she keeps charting with her hit Sacrifice (22-25), the singer also put out a new single called Sabotage this week. The song debuts at #6, becoming Bebe’s 11th Top10 hit out of 19 chart entries in total. Next up is Ariana Grande, who finally chose the next single of her latest album Positions. POV was already a standout as album track last year and so its choice is not the biggest surprise, just like its arrival at #8 this week, continuing Ariana’s streak of always reaching the Top10 with all of her chart entries. Slightly less lucky are Marina and London Grammar, as the two British artists just land outside the Top10 with their new singles. Marina starts at #11 with Purge The Poison, the second single of her upcoming new album Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land (out in mid June), while London Grammar debut at #12 with How Does It Feel, from their new album Californian Soil that debuts on the album charts this week.

There are further debuts for Julia Michaels with Love Is Weird at #20, Rina Sawayama & Elton John’s Chosen Family at #27, Regard feat. Troye Sivan & Tate McRae’s You at #30, and Kygo feat. James Gillespie’s Gone Are The Days at #36. There’s also a re-entry on the charts this week, and that’s a rather surprising one, as virtual K-Pop group K/DA return to #21 with their smash The Baddest. The band also makes some impressive moves on the Album Top20 and on the Bubbling Under chart this week.

Eurovision entries this week: Eurovision tracks are all still on their ways down the chart, but a few keep charting at least with Destiny’s Je me casse (4-9), Montaigne’s Technicolour (23-34) and Elena Tsagrinou’s El diablo (28-35), while Unbreakable (9-18) & Monument (25-33) keep charting for Keiino when it comes to further Eurovision related entries.

Other talking points this week: Following an already good arrival last week, Years & Years reaches the Top10 with Starstruck going up 12-10. Meanwhile, even though Epica leave the Top20 for the first time with Rivers (15-24), the song gets certified with Gold this week. This is their first single certification and comes just a week after their current album Omega got them their first album certification.

The title for the biggest climber is shared by Evanescence’ Yeah Right and Years & Years’ Starstruck, while A Little Bit Of Love by RuPaul & Co. drops 20-39 as the biggest loser this week.

Album Top20

It’s not the busiest week on the Album Top20 with just two new arrivals and yet again no re-entry, but there’s still a new number one. Evanescence not only get a top debut for their new single Better Without You on the Singles Top40, but they keep going strong with their latest album The Bitter Truth and manage to return back to the top with it (3-1). This makes The Bitter Truth only the fourth album with multiple weeks atop the charts in 2021 so far, and the first that actually debuted at number one and returned back to the top later during its chartrun. It’s also Evanescence’ second album with multiple weeks on top, as their self-titled third album Evanescence spent three consecutive weeks at number one back in 2011.

Demi Lovato’s Dancing With The Devil… The Art Of Starting Over still sits at #2, while the first new entry completes the Top3. British Indie Pop band London Grammar released their third studio album Californian Soil. While their debut If You Wait became a big hit on several international charts, it failed to make an entry on My Charts. Its follow-up Truth Is A Beautiful Thing was more successful, as it peaked at #8 and spent six weeks in the Top20 overall. Californian Soil does even better now by arriving at #3.

Other new entries this week: As shortly mentioned, there’s just one more new entry on the charts this week, coming from K-Pop legends SHINee. K-Pop keeps becoming more and more popular everywhere and more and more artists keep reaching My Charts for their first time. Despite being real pioneers of the genre, SHINee never made an entry on My Charts until now, as they debut at #9 with Atlantis, their latest album.

Other talking points this week: Taylor Swift drops 1-4 with Fearless (Taylor’s Version) following its strong arrival a week ago. Vanessa Mai’s Mai Tai (4-5), Lana Del Rey’s Chemtrails Over The Country Club (5-6), Blackmore’s Night’s Nature’s Light (6-8) and Nightwish’s HUMAN. :||: NATURE. (7-10) all hold up well in the Top10 - Nature’s Light by Blackmore’s Night even gets certified with Gold this week. A true surprise goes to virtual K-Pop group K/DA, as their All Out EP jumps back up 15-7 this week. The EP refused to die despite being at the bottom of the Album Top20 for a few weeks and still hasn’t left the chart since it came out nearly a half year ago. Madison Beer’s Life Support (10-11), Epica’s Omega (9-12) and Foxes’ Friends In The Corner (8-13) leave the Top10.

Bubbling Under

Virtual K-Pop group K/DA pull some surprising comebacks across all three charts, as besides a good re-entry for their hit single The Baddest on the Singles Top40 and a big jump for their All Out EP on the Album Top20, the EP track Drum Go Dum manages to re-enter the Bubbling Under chart right atop this week, giving it a third week at number one on this list overall, as the song already stood out late last year.

Re-entries don’t happen too often on the Bubbling Under chart and if they do, they’re often for album tracks such as for Drum Go Dum this week, or for Evanescence’ Far From Heaven last week (up 6-3 this week). So it’s an even bigger surprise to see an actual single being able to come back to this list, as Cover Me In Sunshine returns to #6 for P!nk and her daughter Willow Sage Hart. There’s big potential to see this song reaching the main chart soon now.

K-Pop stars SHINee are new at #9 with Atlantis, while further two debuts go out to two Swiss artists, with Stefanie Heinzmann making it to #7 with Believe while Bastian Baker is new at #10 with Jackpot.

Demi Lovato still owns the most entries on the list, as she keeps charting with the Saweetie feature My Girlfriends Are My Boyfriend (1-2), the Noah Cyrus assisted Easy (2-4), and the Mad World cover (7-8). Vanessa Mai’s Morgenlicht dips 4-5 and makes the Bubbling Under chart complete.

With just seven new or re-entries on the Singles Top40, this week is far from being the busiest one and since Evanescence are still going strong with their latest album The Bitter Truth, it’s not the biggest surprise seeing their Better Without You also spending a second week atop the charts. Even though it became their fifth top hit overall a week ago, it’s only their second number one hit with multiple weeks atop the charts following Lithium that spent four weeks at #1 in early 2007. It’s already the fifth song with multiple weeks on top this year though, following Potential Breakup Song by Aly & AJ, Friendzone by Katja Krasavice, Je me casse by Destiny (all two weeks) and Monument by Keiino (three weeks). The Rock band also keeps charting with Yeah Right, though that one falls 4-7 this week.

The Top3 gets completed by a new entry and a big climber. First up is the new entry, coming from German newcomer Leony and her debut single as a lead artist called Faded Love. The song samples O-Zone’s Dragostea din tei, the summer hit of 2004, and makes it all the way to #2 this week. British Indie-Pop band London Grammar own the big climber, as their single How Does It Feel jumps 12-3 after its arrival a week ago. It surpasses the #11 peak of their track Rooting For You (2017) to become their first Top10 hit and therefor also their highest peaking chart entry ever.

Other new and re-entries this week: It seems to become more and more popular that a song that already got released as a single gets a remix with another artist later on, making things probably a little bit more complicated for compiling the charts. This week has two of those remixes and as it happened in the past, those remixes count as re-entries and are added to the original performance of the singles, but only the chartrun from now on is added towards the artists’ discographies that are new on the remixes. The first of those is Save Your Tears by The Weeknd. The song was chosen as his latest single already several weeks ago where it also entered the Top10, but the Canadian singer has teamed up with Ariana Grande for a new remix that brings the song back to new heights at #5. The second of those remixes is Saweetie & Doja Cat’s Best Friend, that made a short appearance at #24 in the first week of 2021, and easily surpasses that by coming back to #9 due to the new remix. The two American rapstresses chose German YouTube star Katja Krasavice for their remix and since Katja already scored three Gold certified hits in 2021, its less surprising to see her addition having such a big impact. And speaking of remixes, Katy Perry also makes the Top10 with a remix as well, though for a song that wasn’t released as a single yet. The Brazilian musicians Luis Sonza and Bruno Martini were added to the Smile album track Cry About It Later that results in its arrival at #8 this week.

Three more entries to go and two of those belong to the RuPaul’s Drag Race universe. The 13th season has finally come to an end and following their reunion episode already a week ago, all contestants also showed an official music video to a song of their choices. Some of the contestants obviously picked songs that already existed, for example Halsey’s You Should Be Sad was chosen by one of the queens, but some others decided to even release a single by their own and made an official video for those. Two of those make the chart, with Tamisha Iman (only as a feature, as DJ Mitch Ferrino is credited as lead artist) making it to #30 with Arrogant, while LaLa Ri’s Bad Bitch Tip featuring Ocean Kelly is new at #31. Last but not least, following its surprising re-entry on the Bubbling Under chart last week, P!nk & Willow Sage Hart finally make their debut on the main chart now with Cover Me In Sunshine (#39).

Eurovision entries this week: Even though the official compilation for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 gets released this week and makes its big arrival on the Album Top20, it doesn’t have an effect on the singles charts yet as all Eurovision entries keep falling with Destiny’s Je me casse (9-16), Elena Tsagrinou’s El diablo (35-36) and Montaigne’s Technicolour (34-37). There’s also still another Eurovision related entry on the charts with Keiino’s Unbreakable (18-22).

Other talking points this week: It seems to be a good week to climb up the charts, as besides London Grammar’s How Does It Feel, there are another three climbers that stand out this week. First up is Marina, who reaches the Top10 with Purge The Poison (11-10). This is already a big step up from her previous single Man’s World, as even though that one debuted at #10, it only lasted three weeks in the Top40 overall. Purge The Poison also becomes Marina’s tenth Top10 entry out of 15 chart entries overall. Next up is Julia Michaels, who jumps 20-12 with Love Is Weird. That’s a perfect timing, as Julia’s full-length debut album Not In Chronological Order comes out next Friday. Also moving up the charts is The Baddest by K/DA & Co., that already had an unexpected comeback last week and re-enters the Top20 now (21-15). Last but not least, Robin Schulz & Felix Jaehn feat. Alida’s One More Time also deserves a shoutout despite falling 23-28, but the song gets certified with Gold this week.

Album Top20

This week saw the release of the official compilation for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2021, and as expected, the set immediately makes it to the top of the album charts. Ever since the album charts started in 2010, every compilation topped the weekly chart for at least one week, with the 2012 and 2013 editions scoring the most weeks atop the charts with four weeks, while overall, the 2012, 2016 and the 2019 editions are the most successful ones to date, having been certified with Platinum.

Evanescence are still going strong and would have been on top of the charts rather easily in many other weeks, but dip 1-2 with The Bitter Truth due to the Eurovision arrival now. London Grammar’s Californian Soil completes the Top3 by staying at #3.

Other new entries this week: Just like in many previous weeks, there’s no re-entry on the charts this week and just one more new entry, that also makes the Top10. Noah Cyrus already scored two successful entries on the album charts in the past with the #1 peaking Good Cry in late 2018, and the #3 peaking and Gold certified The End Of Everything in mid 2020. For her third appearance, the singer teamed up with Australian singer-songwriter P.J. Harding on a new EP called People Don’t Change that makes its debut at #6.

Other talking points this week: K/DA continue doing surprisingly well, not only on the singles charts with The Baddest, but also on the album charts as their All Out EP rises 7-5. That’s a re-peak when it comes to the 2021 charts. Dancing With The Devil… The Art Of Starting Over by Demi Lovato (2-4), Nature’s Light by Blackmore’s Night (8-7), Mai Tai by Vanessa Mai (5-8) and Chemtrails Over The Country Club by Lana Del Rey (6-9) all hang on in the upper half as well, while Taylor Swift’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version) already falls 4-10 in its third week. Further shoutouts go to Nightwish, who leave the Top10 with HUMAN. :||: NATURE. (10-11), to Blackmore’s Night, who recover 18-13 with To The Moon And Back…, to Grimes, who moves 16-15 with the newly 3x Platinum certified Miss Anthropocene, and to SHINee & Foxes, who both drop a lot with their releases Atlantis (9-19) and Friends In The Corner (13-20).

Bubbling Under

Even though her album keeps declining on the Album Top20, Demi Lovato still goes strong on the Bubbling Under chart and even manages to rise back to the top with the Dancing With The Devil… The Art Of Starting Over album track My Girlfriends Are My Boyfriends with Saweetie (2-1). Demi also keeps charting with the Noah Cyrus assisted Easy (4-6).

There are a bunch of new entries on the list this week from new releases that didn’t make a big enough impact to enter the main chart. First up is Cool Me Down, a collaboration by Polish DJ Gromee and Romanian Dance-Pop queen Inna at #4, closely followed by He Said She Said, a new single by Scottish Synth-Pop band CHVRCHES at #5. Sunrise Avenue frontman Samu Haber arrives at #8 with Täältä tullaan, Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams is new at #9 with Colour Me In, while Drag Race contestant Olivia Lux makes her arrival at #10 with The Game featuring Joao Santos.

K/DA’s former top hit Drum Go Dum descends 1-3, while Evanescence move up 3-2 with Far From Heaven. The Rock band even gets a second entry this week, as fellow The Bitter Truth album track Broken Pieces Shine is new at #7.

Ha, I knew you would be happy to see London Grammar doing so well on my chart <3 Have to admit though that this is actually the first time I'm enjoying a song by them so much, and the whole album is actually really, really good (playing it right now while typing this )

The OMAM song seems to be so underrated... I think it's the best thing they've done since their second album.

Fingers crossed Purge The Poison will grow on you then! Maybe once the album gets released?

Singles Top40

Evanescence are still going strong with Better Without You, as the song spends a third consecutive week atop the Singles Top40 this week. It ties Keiino’s Monument as the longest running number one song of the year now, though it’s the only song with three or more consecutive week atop the charts. That’s already a huge achievement, as there aren’t many songs reaching three or more weeks atop the charts in the last few years and if they did, they usually ended up very high on the year-end charts. The band also keeps charting with Yeah Right (7-14), that gets certified with Gold this week as their first single doing so since Hi-Lo with Lindsey Stirling did it in 2018.

London Grammar’s How Does It Feel (3-2) and Leony’s Faded Love (2-3) switch positions and complete the Top3.

New entries this week: A bunch of new entries make it onto the charts this week and three of them even make it into the Top10. First up is Bebe Rexha, who will release her second studio album Better Mistakes next Friday and just released its fourth single called Die For A Man feat. Lil Uzi Vert. The song debuts at #4, becoming already Bebe’s 20th chart entry overall and 12th Top10 hit. Bebe also keeps charting with Sabotage (13-25) and Sacrifice (29-34). Romanian Dance-Pop queen Inna is next, as she arrives at #5 with her new single Oh My God, same peak and debut position like her previous chart entry Read My Lips from last year. Overall, Oh My God is Inna’s 27th chart entry and already 22nd to make it into the Top10. British girl group Little Mix have the third Top10 new entry, as they recorded a new version for their song Confetti featuring rap newcomer Saweetie that debuts at #6. It’s their first chart entry since Sweet Melody peaked at #2 in late 2020 as their biggest hit to date.

Australian singer-songwriter Amy Shark just released her second studio album Cry Forever and on the back of its release, the single Love Songs Ain’t For Us featuring Keith Urban makes it to #12. Surprisingly the first entry for Keith, Love Songs Ain’t For Us is Amy’s sixth consecutive Top20 hit. Billie Eilish’s new single Your Power is just one spot below at #13. The singer has announced her second studio album called Happier Than Ever for a 30th July release, with Your Power being already its third single following My Future (#17) and Therefore I Am (#15), both from last year. Drag Race star Tia Kofi teamed up with Cahill on Look What You’ve Done (#22), David Guetta & Afrojack’s Hero is new at #29 while Hayley Kiyoko has the final debut of the week for Found My Friends at #36.

Eurovision entries this week: Surprisingly, only one song from the upcoming contest remains on the charts this week, and that’s Destiny’s Je me casse (16-23). It’s expected to see some comebacks very soon though. Amir’s Carrousel with Indila (6-8) and Keiino’s Unbreakable (22-30) are further Eurovision related entries on the charts this week.

Other talking points this week: A lot has already been mentioned and besides the normal ups and downs, there’s just one more song that deserves a special shoutout: Love Is Weird by Julia Michaels. The singer-songwriter has released her full-length debut album Not In Chronological Order this week and the song benefits a bit by rising 12-11 for a new peak.

While Blackmore’s Night’s Second Element (21-16) and Epica’s Rivers (24-19) share the title for the biggest climbers, the title for the biggest losers of the week is shared by Demi Lovato & Ariana Grande’s Met Him Last Night (14-27) and Lil Nas X‘ Montero (Call Me By Your Name) (26-39).

Album Top20

With four new arrivals and one re-entry on the Album Top20, this week is busier than many previous weeks and so it’s also less surprising to see a new album atop the charts. Australian singer-songwriter Amy Shark made her chart debut with the song I Said Hi and her debut album Love Monster nearly three years ago. The set became a huge success in her home country, but also on My Charts, as it topped the list for one week and got certified with Gold. This week finally marks the arrival of her second studio album Cry Forever, that immediately becomes Amy’s second number one album and third chart entry overall, as she also peaked at #5 with The Night Thinker EP in 2018 as well.

A second new entry also makes the Top3: Not In Chronological Order by Julia Michaels. Following some EPs and many singles, Not In Chronological Order is Julia’s first full-length studio album and becomes her highest charting entry on the Album Top20 by debuting at #3, surpassing the peaks of the EPs Inner Monologue Part 1 (#4) and Inner Monologue Part 2 (#5, certified with Gold), both from 2019.

Evanescence‘ newly Gold certified The Bitter Truth stays at #2 and completes the Top3.

Other new and re-entries this week: Next up on the list is Birdy’s comeback album Young Heart. Her first three albums – Birdy (#2 in 2013, certified with Platinum), Fire Within (#3 in 2013, Gold) and Beautiful Lies (#2 in 2016, Gold) – were all very successful, but the singer decided to go on a break after those and already returned with the Piano Sketches EP late last year. Unfortunately, the EP already didn’t perform as well as those albums and even missed out on the Top10 (#11), and with only one chart entry for Surrender (#25 earlier this year) and no entry for other singles from Young Heart, it’s not the biggest surprise to see her fourth album missing out on yet another Top3 peak by arriving at #7. The fourth and final debut of the week goes to Ashley Monroe’s Rosegold at #8. The Country singer scores her second chart entry through this, with her first having been Sparrow from 2018. The set only peaked at #7 back then, but showed fantastic longevity and stayed on the Top20 for a total of 18 weeks.

The re-entry belongs to Nightwish, as the Finnish Symphonic Metal band returns to #14 with the 2013 live album Showtime, Storytime.

Other talking points this week: The compilation for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 already falls 1-4 following its arrival last week, but it’s already safe to say that the record will rise back up again soon. Speaking of rising up the charts, Blackmore’s Night keep doing well with their latest album Nature’s Light, that recovers 7-5 this week. London Grammar’s Californian Soil (3-6), Demi Lovato’s Dancing With The Devil… The Art Of Starting Over (4-9) and K/DA’s All Out EP (5-10) are also still inside the Top10. Bubbling Under

As usual, the Bubbling Under chart keeps being a mixture of album tracks from currently successful albums and singles that didn’t stand out enough to enter the main chart, though the album tracks definitely have an upper hand this week. One of those immediately and easily tops the list, as Worst Day Of My Life has been the clear standout of Amy Shark’s new top album Cry Forever.

Evanescence still go strong with The Bitter Truth on the Album Top20 and even though the set hasn’t scored a number one entry on the Bubbling Under chart yet, the band seems to get stronger with each week, as they have three songs charting now with Far From Heaven (2-3), Broken Pieces Shine (7-5) and Feeding The Dark debuting at #6.

Twenty One Pilots are still preparing the upcoming release for their new album Scaled And Icy, though it seems like they’re rather underperforming so far. The lead single Shy Away may have been a Top20 hit, but only stayed on the chart for two weeks, and its follow-up Choker has to settle down for a #4 debut on the Bubbling Under chart now.

While Blackmore’s Night return to #7 with Feather In The Wind, LaFee has a final debut as she’s new at #9 with Halt mich fest.

Demi Lovato & Saweetie’s My Girlfriends Are My Boyfriend (1-2), K/DA & Co.‘s Drum Go Dum (3-8) and Gromee & Inna’s Cool Me Down (4-10) complete the Bubbling Under chart this week.

It’s definitely Bebe Rexha’s week! The singer has released her second studio album called Better Mistakes this week and since her debut album Expectations already became a big success in 2018, it’s not the biggest surprise to see Better Mistakes having a huge impact on the charts this week. The album already spawned four Top10 entries in the past and three of those were still charting last week. To go with the album release, Bebe already chose a fifth single and with the lead single making a comeback, all five singles are on the Top40 this week. But first things first with album opener Break My Heart Myself feat. Travis Barker, that was chosen as the fifth single and immediately makes it to number one this week. It becomes Bebe’s 21st chart entry and fourth top hit following I Got You (2017), Home with Machine Gun Kelly & X Ambassadors (2017) and I’m A Mess (2018).

Bebe’s other charting songs are Die For A Man feat. Lil Uzi Vert, that just came out a week ago and dips 4-6 now, the album’s lead single Baby I’m Jealous feat. Doja Cat, that returns to #15 and even gets certified with Gold as Bebe’s seventh song doing so, the ballad Sabotage, that jumps back up 25-17, and Sacrifice, that benefits a lot from the Better Mistakes album release and rises back up 34-23.

A total of 6 new entries and 2 re-entries are on the charts this week and the second highest new entry makes it to #2: Baddest by Imanbek and Cher Lloyd. This is a new height for both artists, as the Kazakh DJ Imanbek had two previous chart entries with Too Much (with Marshmello & Usher, #36 in late 2020) and Bang (with Rita Ora & David Guetta, #3 earlier this year), while former UK X-Factor contestant Cher Lloyd previously made the charts with Really Don’t Care (by Demi Lovato, #5 in mid 2014), Sirens (#34 in mid 2014) and Activated (#40 in mid 2016).

Evanescence’ Better Without You dips 1-3 after three consecutive weeks on top and completes the Top3.

Other new entries this week: American Pop band OneRepublic are back! The band has scored several big chart hits ever since debuting with Apologize back in 2007 (#5). Unfortunately, their last Top10 entry has been Let’s Hurt Tonight (#2 in late 2016) and despite scoring 11 more chart entries ever since, only Lose Somebody with Kygo came close to the Top10 (#12 in mid 2020), but this changes this week, as the band has released Run as their new single for their upcoming new album Human. The track immediately impresses and easily makes it to #5 this week, being their 23rd entry overall. Next up is RuPaul’s Drag Race finalist The Rosé, who debuts at #12 with The Devil In The Details. Similar to OneRepublic, fellow band Coldplay also make somewhat of a comeback with a new single called Higher Power arriving at #22. It’s their first entry on the Singles Top40 since Something Just Like This with The Chainsmokers debuted and peaked at #40 in early 2017. P!nk also owns one of the new entries, as her new single All I Know So far debuts at #30. She’s also reaching a new peak with Cover Me In Sunshine (38-35).

Eurovision entries this week: Still not a lot going on but this may most likely change next week. Destiny’s Je me casse falls 23-28, Hooverphonic’s The Wrong Place comes back to #37 more due to their album release, while there’s a further Eurovision related entry for Keiino’s Unbreakable (30-33).

Other talking points this week: There’s one more song worth a shoutout this week and that’s Your Power by Billie Eilish, as the track rises 13-11 for a new peak after its debut a week ago.

Bebe Rexha’s Sacrifice is the biggest climber while Saweetie feat. Doja Cat & Katja Krasavice’s Best Friend drops 18-39 as the biggest loser this week.

Nearly three years following the release of her full-length debut album Expectations, Bebe Rexha finally released her long awaited second studio album called Better Mistakes this week, and as expected, the album immediately makes it to the top to become Bebe’s second top album (Expectations spent four consecutive weeks at #1) and fourth entry overall, as she also reached #4 with the All Your Fault, Pt. 1 EP and #2 with the All Your Fault, Pt. 2 EP, both from 2017. With so many singles from the album still charting high on the Singles Top40, Better Mistakes has the potential to follow into Expectations footsteps and may end up as one of the most successful albums of the year.

It’s been a busy week yet again, as just like it was a week ago, there are also four new entries and one re-entry on the Album Top20 this week and one other new release also battled for the top spot. American Pop duo Aly & AJ already returned to the music scene with the Ten Years EP back in 2017 following a break that went on for nearly a decade. The EP reached #10 on the charts and was followed up with another EP called Sanctuary (#5 in 2019). This week the duo finally put out their first full-length album in over a decade called A Touch Of The Beat Gets You Up On Your Feet Gets You Out And Then Into The Sun and the set immediately becomes their highest arrival on the album charts by debuting at #2.

The compilation for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 rises back up 4-3 and completes the Top3.

Other new and re-entries this week: Next up is the first chart entry on the Album Top20 for one of this years Eurovision artists, as Belgian band Hooverphonic released their new album called Hidden Stories. While The Wrong Place is among the more successful Eurovision entries on the charts so far, the album makes a rather moderate debut at #7. British hit maker Rag’n’Bone Man had a huge era with his first album Human back in 2017, but failed to enter My Charts with it. Its follow-up Life By Misadventure just came out this week and therefore becomes his first entry by arriving at #9. The one re-entry goes out to Estonian Alt-Pop singer Kerli, who returns to #19 with her second full-length studio album Shadow Works.

Other talking points this week: Evanescence leave the Top3 for their first time with The Bitter Truth dipping 2-4 in its seventh week. Meanwhile, Amy Shark already drops 1-5 with Cry Forever following the top debut a week ago. Blackmore’s Night’s Nature’s Light holds up really well in the Top10 (5-6), while Nightwish’s HUMAN. :||: NATURE. holds up well just outside the Top10 (11-11). The rest is more or less the usual ups and downs, with Ashley Monroe’s Rosegold (8-13) and Birdy’s Young Heart (7-14) already leaving the Top10 after just one week.

Bubbling Under

Besides topping the Singles Top40 with Break My Heart Myself and the Album Top20 with her second studio album Better Mistakes, Bebe Rexha gets a charts triple this week as she also tops the Bubbling Under chart with Better Mistakes, the title track of the aforementioned album. It’s overall a fantastic week for Bebe, as she has a total of five singles charting on the singles charts and besides the title track, there are another two album tracks on the Bubbling Under chart with Trust Fall (#6) and Amore feat. Rick Ross (#9) also making appearances.

Bebe’s closest competition is a single that nearly made the main chart, but failed to do so in the end and therefore makes a great debut on the Bubbling Under chart instead. Just a week following the Afrojack assisted Hero (ex #29 on the main chart), David Guetta already put out a new single called Get Together that arrives at #2 on the list.

Being Bebe’s biggest competition on the album charts, it’s probably less surprising to see Aly & AJ also having a debut on the Bubbling Under chart this week. They keep being hit or miss on the main chart and even though they already scored a #1 hit at the very beginning of 2021, they failed to get further hits ever since. Don’t Need Nothing is currently promoted as the new single of their new album A Touch Of The Beat… and starts at #4 on the Bubbling Under chart.

Conchita Wurst owns the final debut on the list, as their new single Malebu is new at #7.
