Oh, really? Well, I sadly have to agree when it comes to Rita, but she probably set her own bar too high with "Phoenix". Meanwhile, I absolutely adore Ava Max' new single so I hope it may be a grower for you

    • Wow, Niall debuting atop both of our charts. Switzerland and Germany is represented. I hope he comes to tour in our countries too. We BOTH deserve private audiences by Mister Horan.

Many artists have skipped Switzerland on their tours lately and I think Niall did the same iirc, so I doubt he's visiting us But Germany should be lucky enough! The album is really good and I hope it's a bigger success for him

                                    • Nice to see Dua make your main chart and two of the best album tracks make the bubbling under!

5SOS’ Wildflower is also great pop.

The song is alright (especially the heavier chorus), although lyrics are slightly basic.

                                        • Hi Tansike

                                          1 (1) Ava Max - Kings & Queens

Wow, Ava is doing great with 3 weeks at #1. <3 Had it not been for my beloved Niall last week, Kings & queens would've had a comfortable second week at #1.

                                          3 (10) Ava Max - Salt *G*

Ava dominating that top 3. I notice this has been doing well on iTunes in countries like Switzerland and Germany. Such a shame it doesn't really reflect anything in the charts anymore.

                                          4 (7) Doja Cat - Say So

This is still a smooth bop and easily one of the best r'n'b tracks of the year so far. I have noticed Boss bitch is starting to do well on Spotify so its great to Doja Cat to get two hits in quick succession.

6 (2) The Weeknd – In Your Eyes

Not gonna lie, i checked out After hours and was a bit disappointed. Considering just how much i love Blinding lights i knew the whole album wouldn't be as euphoric (i had already heard Heartless) so expected a divide between the pop and r'n'b flavoured songs. In your eyes was the obvious next single having listened to the whole album. I was surprised at the overall lack of really amazing songs. A lot of the album imo is style over substance and its a shame. The only other album track i really enjoy is Scared to love but i'd already heard this after The Weeknd performed it on Saturday night live.

                                          8 (5) Lady Gaga – Stupid Love

This is still an almighty pop bop and i'm definitely curious to hear the new collaboration with Ariana Grande.

10 (RE) Dua Lipa – Physical

YES! New peak in album release week. I'm still quite surprised you've not taken to this song as its been one of those rare songs that appeals to so many different UK Mixers despite our eclectic tastes.

14 (NEW) Selena Gomez – Dance Again

I checked out the performance video yesterday on YouTube. The song itself is pretty good too. Any song that sounds like a bop will always win out for me.

                                          16 (11) Niall Horan – No Judgement

Aww i love how this has become a hit in your chart. Sure it's no Nice to meet you but i love how cute Niall looks in the music video, and the fact its just a really fun video with the elderly couple.

19 (NEW) Kygo, Zara Larsson & Tyga – Like It Is

It's great to see Zara back and Kygo was responsible for my favourite single of 2019. Like it is is a decent song. There were a few great singles released yesterday and this is amongst them. It's definitely going to shake up my chart tonight.

20 (NEW) Little Mix – Break Up Song

Love this <3 I wasn't sure what to expect but was curious when Little Mix shot to #1 on iTunes so quickly. Gave it a listen on YouTube and it just clicked on first listen, and i was relieved that they hadn't gone with another tired sounding r'n'b type of song. Break up song might not be revolutionary but it sure appeals to my inner teenybopper.

23 (NEW) Dua Lipa – Break My Heart

...and here's the other "break" song that fighting for chart supremacy tonight. The pop girls giving me what i want and i'm loving it. <3

                                          27 (NEW) Hailee Steinfeld – I Love You’s

Also gave this a listen yesterday but wasn't exactly sold. I don't mind the song and its passing nod to Annie Lennox but somehow i find it a tad uninspiring.

On another note, all those eurovision songs. It's such a shame we've ended up with a scary global situation where nobody knows what's happening, nor when this is going to end. I never ever imagined i'd see a time where everything is being cancelled left, right and centre. It's sure going to be one boring summer because of it. I can only hope that things improve and that we might finally get our lives back on track by the time summer arrives.

2 (NEW) Dua Lipa – Future Nostalgia

Gosh, i can't believe Dua only entered at #2 behind Grimes' album. Needless to say Dua Lipa could well be having her own "Niall Horan" moment next weekend with her album dominating my chart.

                                          • Little Mix is a great synthpop track.

Hailee is OK but there's rather too many tracks using No More "I Love You"'s (originally by The Lover Speaks before Lennox). Minaj used it, too - very recently. Give it a few years before another one, please!

I wasn't too impressed with it at first, but it turned out to be a big grower and I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes her biggest hit since "Without Me". "Underdog" has been such a positive surprise! I was already shocked how good "Time Machine" was, so this is shaping up to be a great era for Alicia! Now let's just cross our fingers the GP will get into her music again as well.

Good you also enjoy "People You Know" and "Vulnerable". While I really enjoy "Rare" as a whole, I think nothing comes close to her best songs on this. But it's a great body of work for sure.

Oh, nice to hear you were a fan of Grimes' "Butterfly"! Her new stuff isn't that commercial though, but her upcoming album has been my most anticipated release of the year for months now (though it's currently a tie since Nightwish announced their new album a few days ago...).

Also fantastic to hear "Blinding Lights" surpassed "Heartless" for you as well
I think the ship may have sailed when it comes to Alicia Keys and GP support, but I'd love to be wrong.

I don't think any individual track is particularly epic, but Rare is probably my favourite post-Scene LP from her.

Nice to see you've given Physical another chance. I've almost played it 100 times and still can't get enough of it. Haven't liked a song this much in a long time. Nice new peak!

Finally had the time to check out the new album and of the new tracks this is definitely the highlight. I think the entire Future Nostalgia album is going to make my chart next week.

Still hanging on after all these weeks despite its singles not making much of a dent on your singles chart. While I enjoy this album, as a big Allie X fan I haven't connected to it as much as previous releases. I would recommend you listen to Super Sunset and CollXtion II if you haven't already. Especially the track Science which is my favourite!

Dua really delivered a strong Pop record. I never was that much into her debut so I'm happy she got me with "Future Nostalgia"!

I knew if someone would make a comment about that new entry, it would be you I absolutely love the melody of the intro / chorus and this has been by far my favorite song on their album, so I'm glad it got a lyric video. I get what you mean about the lyrics, but most of Anette's project weren't lyrically strong since her NW departure so I can live with that
