    Ok for Teenage Dream.

I really like "Summertime Sadness". "Video Games" will never die". :-? Born to Die at #1 how not surprising! can you show me The Fame (Monster) chart-run? I'm waiting for 21 re-release. I haven't bought it yet. Haha

Fan of that Justin Bieber song, although I could do without Big Sean having shown up this year.

      • OMG! OMG! OMG!

I haven't known that Tarja was workin' on a new single and album yet! It's so great that I follow your charts. Otherwise I wouldn't get to know such things!

I'll have to check it out right now!

Btw, it's strange that "I Feel Immortal" didn't chart on your charts. Personally, I think that it's her most beautiful single to date, especially the line "Slowly time forgets me" always makes me feel sad and nostalgic.

Your charts are flawless as always.
I love "Turn Up The Radio", "Summertime Sadness", "Princess Of China", "Video Games", "Euphoria" and "Little Talks" in your Top10 ;)

          • @ Haribo:
The current problem is that there isn't a very strong album which i really really like, so that's why "Born To Die" is still on top on the Album Charts

            The Fame Monster's chartrun:
            3-3-3-4-5-5-3-5-6-9-9-Out-RE 9-5-3-2-2-1-3-3-3-3-3-5-6-2-2-4-2-2-2-2-3-2-3-5-5-4-2-5-4-4-6-6-7-8-7-9-10-Out-RE 10-Out-RE 7-6-5-6-9-Out

It was 54 weeks in the Album Top10 with a #1 peak (1 week), it's currently 4x Platinum

            The Fame's chartrun:
            1-2-2-2-4-2-1-2-5-3-4-3-5-8-7-8-9-9-8-6-2-4-4-5-5-6-5-4-4-5-6-7-5-6-8-7-5-5-6-7-5-9-9-10-Out-RE 10-Out

It was 45 weeks in the Album Top10 with a #1 peak (2 weeks), it's currently 3x Platinum

Note that my Album Charts started on the first week of 2010, but both were released earlier and so they missed some points. Oh and maybe i missed one week. I didn't wrote their chart runs down so i had too look at every chart. But i don't think that happened ^^

So while Katy's TD is already nine weeks more in the Album Top10, it's still some points behind TFM. But as i said, the gap between TD and 21 is also very little and Lana's "Born To Die" (currently the 7th best pointing album ever) could be also a competitor for all of them. btw "The Fame" is #6 ;)

            @ abemr89655:
            Me too
I like this song and without Big Sean it would be even better!

            @ Mainshow:
            So glad to hear that!

Yeah, actually "Into The Sun" is Tarja's new single, but there's no new album, it's more like a Live DVD of a concert by her. The CD is called "Act I" and will be released in two weeks!
I hope you will like the song! It sounds more like the "My Winter Storm" stuff than the "What Lies Beneath" stuff.

btw great to see you like her. That's very rare here on ukmix

Honestly, at that time i was SO confused about the singles. For me, it wasn't clear which was the current single then ("I Feel Immortal", "Falling Awake" or "Until My Last Breath"). Since "I Feel Immortal" was a little bit too boring for me at that time, i decided to let only "Until My Last Breath" chart. Finally, i love "I Feel Immortal" too and regret that it didn't chart :-?

Great to see you love those songs!

            @ Tiger:
Good to see you like Carrie!

                • It's a shame that Carrie lost out on a #1 debut especially to a song that I don't know. I'll be sure to check out "Into The Sun" later though and fabulous chart overall!

                    • Thanks for all comments!

I haven't that much time at the moment (at work...) so i will commnt your charts later, but here is my current charts for this week!

                      .

It is always # | Last Week | Time In | Highest Position - Artist - Song or Album

This week, there weren’t that much changes in the Singles Top20 and in the Album Top10.
While Tarja and Carrie are still on top of the Singles Charts, “Good Time” by Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen comes back into the Top3 for the fifth week (5 – 3).

Also, Justin Bieber and Big Sean both scores their first Top5 notation with “As Long As You Love Me”, which moves 7 – 4. Directly behind them, there is “Power & Control” by Marina And The Diamonds. After two weeks at #14, the second single of her album “Electra Heart” gives Marina the first Top5 position ever. Her previous peak position was #6 with “Primadonna”.

While Lana Del Rey scores her 40th week in the Top20 with “Video Games”, it leaves the Top10 for the second time. Amazing fact: Out of these 40 weeks in the Top20, the song was 37 weeks in the Top10!

The only new entry is the new single from Nelly Furtado, called “Spirit Indestructible”. While her previous single “Big Hoops” peaked at #10, there is a big chance for “Spirit Indestructible” to outpeak the song.

Like last week, there wasn’t a big competition in the Album Charts and so it was clear that Lana Del Rey’s “Born To Die” is another week on top – the 12th! But it looks like it will be her last, because Owl City’s “The Midsummer Station” should debut next week and with the success of “Good Time” it’s very likely to see the album on top…

There was no debut in the Top10 this week, but a big comeback. Estonian singer Kerli’s debut album comes back to it’s peak position at #5. Great comeback for a four year old album!

Thank you for answering. "Into The Sun" is truly amazing! If you listen to it, you won't think that it's a live version of that song, 'cause Tarja sings that song so perfectly that you think that it's a studio version. She's so talented!

I'm glad you like the fact that she's one of my favourite female artists ;) I have seen Nightwish twice and I really hope that I'll get the opportunity to see Tarja live as well. Her last album is amazing!

I know what you mean about being confused because of her single released. I didn't understand it back then either.

I'm glad to see "Into The Sun" on top for a 2nd week! It will definitely rise on my charts as well!

                                Moreover, I adore "Euphoria"'s chart-run ;)

But honestly, i think that was also why the album wasn't that successful. I hope her next album will have some more success, because she deserves it!

                                              • It is always # | Last Week | Time In | Highest Position - Artist - Song or Album

It’s already another week over and this week, there is a little surprise on top of the Singles Top10. As predicted, Nelly Furtado’s “Spirit Indestructible” outpeaks her previous single “Big Hoops”, which peaked at #10. But a week before, i never thought it would peak that high… but suddenly, i fell in love with Nelly’s new single and that’s why it climbs 12 places (13 – 1) and is the new number one of my Charts. This is her second charts topper, after “Say It Right” topped my charts for three weeks back in 2007.

There weren’t that much other notable things in this week too… at least there was one new entry. The second single of the third album by Amy MacDonald is called “Pride” and enters my charts at #7. Also, maybe another notable thing, “Video Games” by Lana Del Rey is another week out of the Top10 and this is the first time ever this song spends two consecutive weeks out of the Top10!

In the album charts, Lana leaves the top spot as predicted and makes space for Owl City. Owl City lands his first #1 Album with “The Midsummer Station” and thanks to this success, his previous album “All Things Bright And Beautiful” comes also back into the Top10.

Thanks to her concert here in Zurich, Madonna’s album “MDNA” remains stable. Before the concert, it looked like she would be around #5, so the concert really helped her in my charts.

Also surprisingly stable is Kerli’s album “Love Is Dead”, which earns a Gold certification this week – over four years after the release! But with her second album getting released in early 2013 it’s still possible to reach even platinum! By the way… there is also one album getting a platinum certification this week: “Life In A Beautiful Light” by Amy MacDonald. This is already the fifth album reaching that cert this year!

                                                • Kinda unexpected to see "Spirit Indestructible" at #1. I don't think "Blown Away" will grow on me. "Video Games" will top your 2012 Year-End!

                                                  • I'm rooting for a new album by Tarja so that she can tour around Europe again as well! So maybe both of us will get a chance to see her live next time! ;)
+ I'm really happy that you like her being that high on my chart. If you really like that, you may love my new chart coming in tonight.

Another great week for "MDNA" and I love the fact that "Euphoria"'s chart-run is that good.
I'm totally suprised by Nelly's position this time (but in a positive way). "Spirit Indestructible" has grown on me lately, as well. Nice #2
