Singles Top40
Spoiler!A lot is happening on the charts this week with the second concert effect following the pandemic making an impact, several new releases including a very anticipated one, some other songs that suddenly come through, four new certifications and a lot more! But first things first with a new, old number one… and one that suddenly comes through again, as it’s Grimes’ Shinigami Eyes that rises 5-1 following its comeback a week ago for a sixth non-consecutive week atop the charts this year!
The highest of the 10 new entries comes in right behind Grimes and was not only an anticipated one, but also one that many people really expected to come out rather sooner than later, as it’s been over three years since their last release, while they’ve also been prominentily featured on Faun’s Gwydion (12-23): Eluveitie! The Swiss Folk-Metal band finally returns with a new track called Aidus, which is expected to be the lead single to an upcoming studio album and also as expected, the song scores a strong debut and becomes their seventh consecutive Top3 hit out of seven entries in total!
Chanel’s SloMo dips 2-3, completing the Top3 as the highest Eurovision entry of the week yet again.
Concert effect: With Dua Lipa just having experienced a good boost through a first concert effect in two and a half years, it’s Rammstein’s turn now! The German Industrial Metal band visited Switzerland on their current tour and while Dua Lipa played one concert in an arena with a capacity of around 13,000 people, Rammstein even played two concerts in a stadium with a capacity of around 47,000 people - the first concert this big in two and a half years in Switzerland! The band is known for their phenomenal live shows and they definitely lived up to the hype, what causes a big concert boost for them, even though they were never that much of big hit makers so far. Making the biggest impact is Sonne, a single that was originally released over 20 years ago and debuts at #4 now, just two spots above Engel, their breakthrough single from 1997 that debuts at #6. With Deutschland, a third song gets to the Top10 at #8, though the song already peaked at #5 as their comeback single back in 2019. With Mein Herz brennt (#11, from 2001) and their debut single Du riechst so gut (#12, from 1995), there are two tracks arriving as new entries just outside of the Top10. Zick Zack (#19) and Ausländer (#26) are two more re-entries for the band, with the former even reaching a new peak through this, while Pussy (#28) is their eighth and final entry on the Top40 this week.
Other new entries this week: Due to Running Up That Hill being heavily featured on the new season of the successful Netflix series Strangers Things, Kate Bush’s signature song is currently experiencing a huge boost all over the world and that also brings it onto the Singles Top40 for the very first time, as the track enters the charts at #18. It’s the very first notation for Kate Bush. Lost Frequencies & James Arthur teamed up on Questions, a new entry at #29, and Viva Las Vengeance, the new single by Panic! At The Disco, makes it to #36.
Other Eurovision entries this week: Chanel’s SloMo is the only remaining Eurovision entry in the Top10, as Ochman’s River (7-14, Poland), S10’s De Diepte (6-17, Netherlands) and Andromache’s Ela (9-20, Cyprus) all have to leave that part of the charts. There’s still something to celebrate for Ochman and Andromache, as their songs get certified with Gold this week. With Brooke’s That’s Rich (21-34, Ireland), a third Eurovision entry gets to Gold status this week, bringing the total of certified Eurovision entries from 2022 to five now. This is an especially great achievement for Ela and That’s Rich, as both songs didn’t even reach the Grand Final of the contest. And speaking of Brooke, the Irish singer additionally gets a second entry this week, as she released a new single called Tongues that immediately becomes her second Top20 hit by debuting at #16. With Konstrakta’s In corpore sano (13-22, Serbia), Systur’s Međ hćkkandi sól (15-25, Iceland), The Rasmus’ Jezebel (18-27, Finland), WRS’ Llámame (22-30, Romania), We Are Domi’s Lights Off (17-33, Czech Republic), Stefan’s Hope (24-35, Estonia) and Kalush Orchestra’s Stefania (19-37, Ukraine), there are still tons of Eurovision entries also charting in the lower half of the charts, with Loreen’s Neon Lights being a final Eurovision related entry in the Top40 (26-31).
Other talking points this week: As expected, Mabel & 24kGoldn’s Overthinking is really becoming a hit now, as the song jumps 14-5 this week. Interestingly, it’s only 24kGoldn’s second chart entry overall, with the other having been the chart-topping Tick Tock by Clean Bandit from 2020, where Mabel was a feature as well. As for the British singer, Overthinking is her third entry overall, as Let Them Know reached #4 during summer 2021. There are also some more good news, first for Drag Race Espana star Juriji Der Klee, who scores her first Top10 hit as XIXI rises 16-9, and second for Dua Lipa, who scores the fourth Gold certification of the week with Levitating reaching the milestone (3-10).
Mabel & 24kGoldn’s Overthinking is the biggest climber, while Dua Lipa’s Hallucinate drops 20-39 as the biggest loser this week.

Album Top20
Spoiler!Rammstein’s concert effect makes a huge impact and due to that, the German Industrial Metal band owns the whole Top3 of the Album Top20 this week. Coming in right atop is their self-titled album Rammstein, which served as their comeback release back in 2019, when it peaked at #4. This gives them their very first number one entry ever, and it prevents their current album Zeit from doing so, as that one jumps back up 9-2 this week. That’s also a new peak for Zeit, as it previously debuted and peaked at #3 a few weeks ago. More impressively, both albums also get certified with Gold this week, giving the band their very first certifications ever. Last but not least, Mutter was released as Rammstein’s third album already back in 2001, where it not only became a huge hit, but the album is also often considered to be their best. Since a few songs from it were featured during the concert and most of them were standouts, the set makes a late but strong debut at #3 this week.
Other new entries this week: Swedish singer Tove Styrke debuts at #5 with Hard, her fourth studio album, but very first to make an entry. She’s followed by Post Malone, who released Twelve Carat Toothache also as his fourth album that debuts at #6. He already peaked at #8 with his previous album Hollywood’s Bleeding back in 2019. Christina Aguilera arrives at #9 with the surprise album Aguilera, the same peak like the La Fuerza EP already reached in January. Last but not least, Angel Olsen makes her chart debut across all three charts, as Big Time debuts at #13 for the American singer-songwriter.
Other talking points this week: After spending its first seven weeks in the Top2, the compilation for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 falls 1-4 this week. It’s still on track to become the most successful album of the year so far though. Faun’s Pagan (3-7) also keeps doing well, though falling due to the new releases above it There are some bigger drops for Harry Styles, who already leaves the Top10 after just two weeks with Harry’s House (4-11), and for Will Young’s 20 Years: The Greatest Hits (6-14) and Tate McRae’s I Used To Think I Could Fly (5-17), both that just debuted on the charts a week ago.

Bubbling Under
Spoiler!Rammstein also takes over the Bubbling Under chart, as three of their songs enter the list and two of them even chart ahead of everything else. First up is Links 2 3 4, a track from their album Mutter and also a song that was performed during the concert. It’s followed by the title track of the same album at #2, though that one charts due to the album making such an impact on the album charts this week, as it wasn’t part of their setlist. Their third and final debut is Adieu at #5, the closing track of their current album Zeit, and also a spectacular closer during their concert.
There have been five more new single releases this week that didn’t enter the main chart, but at least they all make appearances on the Bubbling Under chart instead. The highest of these comes in at #3 and is called I Know U Know, the new single by Austrian singer Pia Maria. Pia Maria was also featured on Halo by Lumix, the Austrian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest this year. With Malik Harris, the German Eurovision entry this year also released a follow-up, though his new song called You & I only barely makes it to #10 this week. Muse’s Will Of The People (#6), Salem Ilese’s Crypto Boy (#7) and George Ezra’s I Went Hunting (#7) are the final three debuts of the week.
Dua Lipa’s Pretty Please (1-4) and Carrie Underwood’s She Don’t Know (3-9) complete the list.

.
Singles Top40
Spoiler!Grimes is still unstoppable, as she spends a seventh week atop the Singles Top40 with Shinigami Eyes, further extending its lead as not only the longest running number one song of the year, but even as the longest charting song overall. Her biggest competition also remains two songs that were already close to the top a week ago, with Rammstein moving 4-2 with their signature hit Sonne, while Mabel & 24kGoldn’s Overthinking completes the Top3 by rising 5-3.
New and re-entries this week: There are a total of nine new and re-entries on the charts this week and for the first time in a while, none of them has to do with Eurovision and concert effects! Three of these immediately make the Top10, with Eye Of Melian coming first. The band is still preparing the release of their debut album which is expected to come out later this month, and they chose Light feat. Leah as its fifth single. The song enters the charts at #5, which makes it their fifth consecutive single to reach the Top5. They’re directly followed by Halsey, who put out a new track called So Good. With I Am Not A Woman, I’m A God, the singer scored the second most successful song of 2021, so So Good has big shoes to fill and at least makes a good first impression with its arrival at #6. Demi Lovato is also starting a new era, as the singer just announced Holy Fvck as their upcoming new album and released Skin Of My Teeth as its lead single this week. The song starts at #7, already becoming their 32nd chart notation and 19th to reach the Top10.
Just missing out on the Top10 are the next two entries, with the first of the two being a completely unexpected one: Oh Oh, a new single by Jamie-Lee, who won The Voice Of Germany a few years ago and represented her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. Oh Oh sees the singer taking a different, more electronic direction and it pays off, as with its arrival at #11, the song becomes her highest entry in nearly six years. The current reigning winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Willow Pill, teamed up with the current reigning Miss Congeniality from the series, Kornbread Jeté, on her first proper debut single called Angle, that enters the charts at #12. R3hab and Amy Shark teamed up on Sway My Way (#25), while Tia Kofi teamed up with Little Boots for I Specialise In Love (#29), the final new entry. There are two re-entries on the charts this week and both of them only peaked at #40 a few weeks ago, but both get a small boost through new album releases. First up is Green Green Grass, which comes back at #33 for George Ezra, while Ghost Story returns to #35 for Carrie Underwood.
Eurovision entries this week: With Chanel’s SloMo, the Spanish entry didn’t just come close to winning this years contest, but the song also proves to be the one that holds up the best now that the Eurovision craziness is definitely fading away, as it only dips 3-4. It’s one of only two entries that stay in the upper half as of this week, with the other being Ochman’s River (14-20, Poland). All other Eurovision entries are either in the lower half of the charts, or start to leave them completely. Next up are De Diepte by S10 (17-22, Netherlands), Ela by Andromache (20-28, Cyprus) and In corpore sano by Konstrakta (22-30, Serbia), three entries that have been nice successes. WRS’ Llámame (30-34, Romania), The Rasmus’ Jezebel (27-39, Finland) and Systur’s Međ hćkkandi sól (25-40, Iceland) are the other remaining Eurovision entries. With We Are Domi’s Lights Off (ex #33, Czechia), Brooke’s That’s Rich (ex #34, Ireland) and Stefan’s Hope (ex #35, Estonia), not only three of the biggest Eurovision entries of the year have to leave the Top40, but even three of the biggest hits of the year overall.
Other talking points this week: With Sonne rising to a new peak, it shows that the concert effect for Rammstein keeps having a nice impact. Besides Sonne, Mein Herz brennt also reaches a new peak and even moves into the Top10 this week (11-8), becoming the band’s sixth song doing so. Deutschland (8-13), Du riechst so gut (12-18) and Engel (6-19) remain in the Top20, while the German Industrial band also keeps charting with Zick Zack (19-26) and Ausländer (26-31). Finally, with That’s Rich just leaving the Top40, Irish singer Brooke scores her second Top10 entry as Tongues jumps 16-10.
Brooke’s Tongues is the biggest climber, with Systur’s Međ hćkkandi sól being the biggest loser this week.

My Charts - week 23/2022 – 10 june 2022 - Rhinestoned Eyes
.
Album Top20
Spoiler!Carrie Underwood released her ninth studio album called Denim & Rhinestones this week, with that being her first proper album since Cry Pretty from late 2018. Between these two albums, the Country-Pop singer has also released a Christmas album called My Gift, and a Gospel album called My Savior, that both didn’t show much longevity on the charts. Despite that and also despite a clear underperformance of Denim & Rhinestones’ only single Ghost Story so far, the album still does great right away and immediately debuts atop the Album Top20 this week, becoming Carrie’s third number one album and seventh chart entry overall.
Rammstein are still doing exceptionally well and surprisingly, Mutter, an album that was originally released back in 2001, does the best for them this week, as it moves 3-2 for a new peak. Their self-titled album Rammstein slips 1-3 to complete the Top3, while Zeit falls 2-5 as their third chart entry this week.
Other new entries this week: Besides Carrie’s Denim & Rhinestones, there are another three new entries that all enter the charts in the Top10. Next up is Gold Rush Kid, the third studio album by English singer-songwriter George Ezra. Similar to Carrie’s scenario, the singles of Gold Rush Kid didn’t perform too well on the singles charts so far, but the album as a whole still impresses and makes a great debut at #4 this week. Through this, Gold Rush Kid becomes George’s highest peaking chart entry ever, as his second album Staying At Tamara’s peaked at #7 in 2018, while his debut record Wanted On Voyage (2014) never entered the Top20. Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy arrives at #7 with In Our Own Sweet Time, also his third album and second to make an appearance, though his second album Nation Of Two peaked at #4 in 2018 - basically the other way around of George! Last but not least, Kelly Clarkson gets her seventh chart notation as she debuts at #9 with the Kellyoke EP.
Other talking points this week: With a look at the Singles Top40, it’s no surprise to see the compilation for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 also falling down week by week now, as it’s down 4-6 this time, leaving the Top5 for its first time. From last weeks new entries, Tove Styrke’s Hard holds up the best by decreasing 5-8, as Post Malone already falls 6-11 with Twelve Carat Toothache, while Christina Aguilera’s Aguilera even drops 9-18. A final shoutout goes to Grimes, who keeps charting with Miss Anthropocene (15-14) and Art Angels (18-19), with the latter getting its 40th week on the charts this week.

Bubbling Under
Spoiler!Carrie Underwood may make a stellar debut on the Album Top20 with her new album Denim & Rhinestones, but its only proper single Ghost Story has yet to reach the higher part of the Singles Top40. With that, it probably makes sense to see her getting several entries on the Bubbling Under chart this week, as she owns four entries due to some album tracks being clear standouts. First up is She Don’t Know, a song that has already been released a few weeks ago and jumps back up 9-1 to become her first chart topper on this list. It gets joined by Poor Everybody Else at #4, Pink Champagne at #5, and Garden at #10.
George Ezra not only gets the second highest debut on the Album Top20, but his new album Gold Rush Kid also gets him the second highest new entry on the Bubbling Under chart, as album track Dance All Over Me is the clear standout so far and debuts at #3 due to that.
There have been several new single releases that miss out on the main chart, but with Bastille’s Remind Me (#8) and Nico Santos’ Weekend Lover (#9), two of them at least reach the Bubbling Under chart. Even missing out on that one are BTS’ Yet To Come, Lizzo’s Grrrls and Alaska Thunder**** feat. Stephanie’s Child’s Girlz Night.
Rammstein’s Links 2 3 4 (1-2), Dua Lipa’s Pretty Please (4-6) and Pia Maria’s I Know U Know (3-7) complete the list.

To be fair, I still think he has yet to release a true "body of work", an album that is great from start to finish and also works as a whole, instead of the usual singles being the standouts. Is there a standout you really like that wasn't released as a single?but I'll go with either "As I Am" or "I Can't Be Myself."
Originally posted by Tansike View PostHmm ok I get that... well, but do the new versions at least make you playing the old stuff from her again? I guess that's also a success in some kind of way... at least the new versions get her back on the map for people.
Originally posted by Tansike View PostWhile Hold My Hand has reached several charts worldwide, Switzerland loooves her yet again as she does the best by far over here. The song just reached #6 on our official charts last week! Sometimes I'm so positively surprised by our national charts, Shawn Mendes was another nice example of a song doing well basically just here but nowhere else, and it was also a good song. What's the official site/URL for the Swiss charts?
Originally posted by Tansike View PostYes, pretty much! With Pretty Please being second. Both songs have been stuck in my head for a while after the concert, Pretty Please still appears a lot there. Actually not, I think Hallucinate was one of her more "underrated" songs that I wanted to hear live and she delivered it. Physical was another one I was looking forward to, and she even opened the concert with it! btw, are you also someone who likes to attend concerts? Or not that much?
Also: totally unrelated, but any thoughts on the most recent Scarlet & Violet reveals?- Grimes still not taking her eyes off the prize! What was the last song to spend more than seven weeks at No. 1?
- I'm enjoying "So Good," but it's a little sad that Halsey/her team felt the need to put out a brand-new poppier song less than a year after IICHLIWP. That album deserved so much better (but I guess there's only so much we can do about people's trash taste sometimes...)
- It looks like we're having similar experiences with "Running Up That Hill": I like it, and it's definitely cool watching an "underrated" classic earning new peaks on official charts around the world, but I'm not in love with the song enough to chart it super-high myself
- Aw, even the album release wasn't enough to help get "She Don't Know" onto the main chart? (Or is it not actually an official single yet)?
Yet another chart that's easy on the eyes, Tancel!

(btw but I just hate how it doesn't do well on the charts...)
Also good to know... though honestly, you don't miss out on too much by skipping the semis. Besides the entry for Cyprus that you already heard through my charts, I'd only recommend to check out the Irish entry as well (Brooke with That's Rich). It's very Katy Perry - Teenage Dream era IMO and should've make it through the Grand Final, but it didn't

But yeah, Switzerland is always so supportive... Million Reasons is still one of her biggest hits over here which feels so random.
You could use swisscharts.com to visit the Swiss Charts... where Hold My Hand is already #5 in the meantime
Speaking of official charts... are you still following them closely?

I'd definitely recommend trying to attend one at some point... maybe once one of your favorite artists comes near to where you live. Also there's always the possibility to get seats instead of standing tickets (I never buy standing tickets... that'd be too much to stand in the whole crowd).

Yet another chart that's easy on the eyes, Tancel! And it's only the fifth song reaching that milestone within the last 10 years, with the others being Élan by Nightwish (7 weeks in 2015), Break Free by Ariana & Zedd (9 weeks in 2014) and Wrecking Ball by Miley (9 weeks in 2013/2014)!
Completely agree with you when it comes to So Good & the IICHLIWP situation. The album had so much potential and... they kinda just let it go.
I loooove the rebirth on the official charts out there and I always enjoyed it (one of my favorite bands already covered it around 20 years ago or so). But yes, everytime I listen to it, I like it but don't love it or want to repeat it as often as I do many other songs.
I have no ideaShe Don't Know is one of these cases where I'm lost on wether it's a promo single or just something else. It's surely not an official single yet, as Ghost Story is still the only proper single of the album. But... I'm currently thinking about letting it onto the main charts because I'm obsessed with it and some songs that were just tastes for upcoming albums were also allowed to enter the main charts in the past. We'll see....
Thank you so much

My Charts - week 24/2022 – 17 june 2022 - Single? She Don’t Know!
.
Singles Top40
Spoiler! With a total of six new and two re-entries and all of them landing inside the Top20, the charts gets mixed up again and for the first time in a very long time, the whole Top5 is actually totally different to last week.
New atop the charts is a song that created a never ending discussion: When is a single a single? The Singles Top40 is only allowed for official or promo singles, while album tracks have to settle down for the Bubbling Under chart instead. Even a few weeks prior the release of Denim & Rhinestones, Carrie already put out the song She Don’t Know as a taste for the album, though Ghost Story (ex #35) is up to this day still the only proper single of the album. She Don’t Know already did extremely well on the Bubbling Under chart and even topped that list last week. With the songs continuing success and because it is basically a promo single and there have been many promo singles that entered the charts previously, it was finally time to let She Don’t Know onto the main chart and by doing so, it immediately becomes Carrie’s 18th chart hit and fifth number one entry. This also breaks a clear downward trend on the singles charts from her, that started with Drinking Alone in late 2019.
The rest of the Top5 fits extremely well with June being Pride month, as they’re all from the LGBTQ+ community. RuPaul’s Drag Race is still a huge Pop culture phenomenon and following a first entry for Legends (24-21), the current All Stars 7 season (an all winners season) brings two more songs to the charts this week, as the eight contestants teamed up in two groups to perform two original songs. First up is Titanic by MSTR at #2, while 2getha 4eva by The Other Girls makes it to #5.
Next up is Jamie-Lee (Kriewitz), who won The Voice Of Germany in late 2015, represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016, and released a new single called Oh Oh just a week ago. Following her arrival last week, the song makes a sudden jump up 11-3 this week, immediately becoming her second highest peaking chart entry ever. Her most successful song will most likely always be Ghost, as it was her The Voice winning song and her Eurovision entry back then, and topped the charts for three weeks while being certified with Platinum. Meanwhile, the current winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Season 14, Willow Pill, just debuted with Angle one place below Jamie-Lee last week and makes the exact same jump (12-4). This gives her already the third Top5 single within less than three months.
Other new and re-entries this week: Romanian Dance-Pop singer Inna gets her 29th chart hit as Magical Love debuts at #13. All but two of her chart entries have reached the Top20. Norwegian DJ and producer Alan Walker just released a new EP, where Somebody Like U with Au/Ra serves as its new single. With its arrival at #15, it already becomes the fourth collaboration between the two artists to enter the Top40, following Darkside (#2 in 2018), Ghost (#34 in 2019) and Dead Girl! (#1 in 2021). German artist Avaion owns the final debut of the week, as his new single Keep On Dancing starts at #19. There are also two re-entries and similar to last weeks situation with Carrie Underwood & George Ezra, both re-entries are caused by two new album releases. First up is Alice Merton, who comes back at #16 with Same Team, followed by Calum Scott, who returns to #18 with If You Ever Change Your Mind. Both are new peaks as both songs previously peaked at #32.
Other Eurovision entries this week: While theoretically it’s Jamie-Lee’s Oh Oh that is the highest charting Eurovision related song on the charts now, Chanel’s SloMo is still the highest official Eurovision entry from this year, as the Spanish entry just dips 4-7. With Ochman’s River also leaving the Top20 (20-29, Poland), SloMo is even the only remaining Eurovision track in the Top20, and additionally, it also gets certified with Gold this week. S10’s De Diepte (22-27, Netherlands), Andromache’s Ela (28-36, Cyprus) and Konstrakta’s In corpore sano (30-39, Serbia) are still charting too, with Brooke’s Tongues (10-10) and Loreen’s Neon Lights (32-35) being the final Eurovision related entry on the charts this week.
Other talking points this week: Its been a strong comeback for Grimes, who now suddenly falls back down 1-6 with Shinigami Eyes. There are better news for one of the new and one of the re-entries from a week ago, as Tia Kofi & Little Boots’ I Specialise In Love (29-28) and George Ezra’s Green Green Grass (33-31) both reach new peaks.
While Jamie-Lee’s Oh Oh and Willow Pill & Kornbread Jeté’s Angle share the title for the biggest climber of the week, it’s Rammstein’s Engel that drops 19-38 as the biggest loser.

My Charts - week 24/2022 – 17 june 2022 - Single? She Don’t Know!
.
Album Top20
Spoiler!Despite three debuts in the Top10, there was still no competition for Carrie Underwood as the singer spends a second week atop the charts with her current album Denim & Rhinestones. With this, it already joins Storyteller (2015) as Carrie’s longest running number one entry ever.
The highest new entry comes in at #2 and comes from Norwegian DJ and producer Alan Walker. He released a new EP called Walkerverse, Pt. I, which already spawned three Top20 hits and becomes his fourth chart entry on the album charts, including his third to immediately reach the Top2 following Different World (#2 in late 2018) and World Of Walker (#1 last Fall).
Rammstein’s Mutter dips 2-3 to complete the Top3.
Other new and re-entries this week: Last week, Carrie Underwood and George Ezra debuted with their new albums that both also brought back their latest singles to the singles charts and even to new heights. This week, there also also two new album releases that cause re-entries for their latest singles and also to new heights… first up is German singer Alice Merton, who is probably still mostly known for her worldwide hit No Roots (2016). While the single Same Team returns to the Top20 on the Singles Top40, her second studio album S.I.D.E.S. makes it to #4. Her debut album Mint peaked at #7 in early 2019. British singer Calum Scott also makes the Top20 with his single If You Ever Change Your Mind, a re-entry that is caused due to the release of his second album Bridges, which becomes his very first chart notation on the Album Top20 at #6.
Finally, there’s also a re-entry at the bottom of the charts this week, as Taylor Swift returns with Red (Taylor’s Version) to #18.
Other talking points this week: Following its arrival a week ago, George Ezra’s Gold Rush Kid only dips 4-5 this week, despite still lacking of a big hit so far. Even more impressive is the performance by Faun’s Pagan, which holds up in the upper half for yet another week (10-10) despite all the new entries. Tove Styrke’s Hard leaves the Top10 (8-11), and so do In Our Own Sweet Time by Vance Joy (7-12) and Kellyoke EP by Kelly Clarkson (9-14), though these two only just debuted a week ago. Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia only slips 12-13, and to add to its great concert effect, the album also finally gets certified with Platinum this week. This marks Dua’s very first Platinum certification ever, songs included. Last but not least, a special shoutout goes to Harry Styles, who already has to leave the Top20 with his Harry’s House (ex #16) after just four weeks - definitely a big underperformance compared to how well his second solo album Fine Line did.

My Charts - week 24/2022 – 17 june 2022 - Single? She Don’t Know!

Bubbling Under
Spoiler! With Carrie Underwood’s She Don’t Know moving to the main chart, one would think the Country Pop singer would lose the top spot on the Bubbling Under chart through that, but another song from her current album Denim & Rhinestones actually pulls through, as Poor Everybody Else jumps 4-1. The album still makes a great impression overall, as Carrie also keeps charting with Pink Champagne (5-5) and Garden (10-6).
Carrie’s biggest competition came from Danish Pop singer MŘ, who released a new single called True Romance that just barely misses out on the main chart and debuts at #2 on the Bubbling Under chart instead. FKA twigs’ Killer (#3), Chloë’s Surprise (#7), Icona Pop & Ultra Naté’s You’re Free (#9) and Aya Nakamura’s Méchante (#10) are four more new single releases that settle down for this list instead, while Black Eyed Peas, Shakira & David Guetta all teamed up on Don’t You Worry, another single that could’ve charted, but even misses out on the Bubbling Under chart now.
George Ezra’s Dance All Over Me (3-4) and Rammstein’s Links 2 3 4 (2-8) complete this list.
1 (4) Carrie Underwood – Poor Everybody Else
Chart Run: 4-*1*- / 2w

Totally agree with Alice!! As I'm typing this I'm listening to her current album and it's really good, also much better than her debut album IMO.

Originally posted by Tansike View PostYay! Happy for the effect! I think I already saw a re-entry for Taylor (and for Grimes <3) on your charts earlier this week and thought maybe my survivor was the reason for that. It definitely had me replaying Red (TV) as well and I'm super excited again for new music... already feels like it's time for something new, right?
Originally posted by Tansike View PostSurprised to hear Hold My Hand didn't crack the Top40 on the Hot100 yet... just checked and it actually peaked at #49 so far. Also not too bad for what it is I guess?
But yeah, Switzerland is always so supportive... Million Reasons is still one of her biggest hits over here which feels so random.
You could use swisscharts.com to visit the Swiss Charts... where Hold My Hand is already #5 in the meantime
Speaking of official charts... are you still following them closely?
Originally posted by Tansike View PostAh I can relateIf it wouldn't be for my partner, I'd be a big homebody too! Still am, but he's at least putting me out every now and then.
I'd definitely recommend trying to attend one at some point... maybe once one of your favorite artists comes near to where you live. Also there's always the possibility to get seats instead of standing tickets (I never buy standing tickets... that'd be too much to stand in the whole crowd).
Originally posted by Tansike View PostYou just made me realize that I kinda forgot that Shinigami Eyes reaching 7 weeks was actually a huge milestone... it hasn't happened since late 2016, when Demons In You by Tarja feat. Alissa White-Gluz did it (even seven consecutive weeks)And it's only the fifth song reaching that milestone within the last 10 years, with the others being Élan by Nightwish (7 weeks in 2015), Break Free by Ariana & Zedd (9 weeks in 2014) and Wrecking Ball by Miley (9 weeks in 2013/2014)!
Woah, so it's the first 7-weeker in almost 6 years? I guess there isn't much uncertainty about your No. 1 song of 2022, then.
That absolutely brilliant thread title really caught my attention! Whatever category "She Don't Know" belongs in, I'm glad it gave Carrie another No. 1 here
- Looks like Halsey's return to pop won't be doing so good, though
(Same story on my chart, tbh)
- Calum's so hott
but I've never taken much of an interest in his material (aside from some guest appearances, like Naughty Boy's "Undo" and Lost Frequencies's "Where Are You Now"). His own songs often seem a tad too sad/slow/snooze-inducing (like his "Dancing On My Own" cover, or that re-entry at No. 18). Have you come across any quality uptempos from him you could recommend?
- Congrats to Dua for that Platinum cert! What cert level does her debut album have?
Yet another chart that knows exactly what I like, Tancel!

I tried your number 1, not bad, pretty catchy.
Thanks for checking it out... nice Country-Pop

Originally posted by crystalphoenix View PostYeah, I'm surprised by how slowly she's dragging out the (TV)s (and "Carolina" isn't enough to hold me over).
Also... no love for Carolina?
Originally posted by crystalphoenix View PostMany thanks for that Swiss charts link! I check both the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Official Singles Top 100 every week (used to check the ARIA charts more often too). How about you?
Originally posted by crystalphoenix View PostSame. I'm way too old (and short) for that.
Though even with seats it's not always easy to see everything... everyone was standing up on the Dua Lipa concert and there were even kids standing on the seats, I couldn't see a lot of the actual concert and was low key annoyed (because I buy seat tickets for a reason) but then I realized it's probably the first concert for many people after Covid, so I get why they celebrated & danced like that...

Yet another chart that knows exactly what I like, Tancel! But yeah, I saw that she's been doing well on your charts too, so glad you enjoy She Don't Know that much!! Definitely her best hit in several years and fingers crossed they will push it further in the US too.
Yeah... it's not bad, of course, but also lacks some inspiration. It just doesn't click the way I was hoping for.
YES!! I'm super late to the party honestly, only been googling him in the last weekSadly, his whole album is so ballad heavy, what left me slightly disappointed at first, but it's still not a bad album and I grew to enjoy the ballad heaviness. Also, besides that new album & Where Are You Now and You Are The Reason, I don't know his other work and if you don't even like his re-entry this week, I'm worried you like no songs at all
Maybe check out Cross Your Mind, my second favorite song on the album.
Dua's debut album is not even Gold and had a very mediocre chartrun: *4*-6-9-15-19-19-19-17-19-16-20-Out-RE 17-Out
Thank you
