Oh ok... well, "Love Story" is also one of her best songs. I hope that too

Well, maybe you heard only the false songs of Amy? no, i understand if you don't like her songs. Everyone has a different taste and that's good
Yeah, maybe one, and maybe two.....

Yeah true. But while "Born To Die" was 12 weeks at #1, "21" was 12 weeks at #2

    @ Mainshow
Apart from "Into The Sun", i really like the old NW stuff, like "Phantom Of The Opera" and "Nemo". And you?

Yeah, it's a shame that it isn't on the album. I mean, it was a single... :x

    @ abemr89655
    Yeah, it don't die

    @ anthonyalex
So glad you like her new song
Well, the chances are really big for her to hit #1 soon

    @ PosziMC2

    @ abi
    Glad you like her

First predictions for the next week

Owl City's second album "Ocean Eyes" is already a few years old and never made the Top10 in my Album Charts, but thanks to my current obsession with it it's very likely to see a big surprise next week in the Album Top10!

While Loreen may get a high climb, there is also a big chance to see another number one. Current competitors are the former #1 songs by Nelly Furtado, Tarja and AmyMacDonald. But also Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift got big chances. Who will make it to the top?

I will publish my new charts - as always - this thursday morning

Maybe! yeah, thank God for some artists!

Really?! 21 has never reached number one?

      • No, "21" has never reached #1, but as i said it was 12 weeks at #2 and 47 weeks in the whole Top10... so with a huge gap it's the most successful album which never reached #1 ^^

        • It is always # | Last Week | Time In | Highest Position - Artist - Song or Album

With “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” climbs seven places this week from 8 – 1, Taylor Swifts gets her fourth chart topper after “You Belong With Me”, “Mine” and “Sparks Fly”. While all of her previous three chart toppers were only one week on top, the chances are big for “We Are…” to become Taylor’s longest #1 single so far.

While “Good Time” by Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen leaves the Top5 for the first time in the 10th charting week, there is also a new entry in the Top10. Swedish singer Lykke Li released her single “I Follow Rivers” already last year, but thanks to the new Magician Remix the song got very popular in Europe this year and now also debuts in my charts at #6.

Loreen’s victory in the ESC earned her a lot of success all over the world – including my own charts. After 26 weeks (so a half year) “Euphoria” now climbs back to the Top10 with a huge jump from 17 – 10. Meanwhile, “Summertime Sadness” by Lana Del Rey leaves the Top10 for the very first time, and after the climb last week, “Video Games” also leaves the Top10 again. It’s in general a very bad week for Lana. Her other single “National Anthem” falls 14 – 19 and her singles “Born To Die” and “Blue Jeans” both leaves the Top20 for the first time. So this week is the first week ever a Lana song is falling out of the charts…

There were also one new- and one re-entry in the bottom half of the Top20. “Count On Me” by Bruno Mars is already his 5th charting single after “Just The Way You Are” (#3, Gold), “Grenade” (#1), “The Lazy Song” (#7) and “Marry You” (#9) and debuts at #14. Two places below, Nicki Minaj re-enters with her #1 hit “Pound The Alarm” at #16.

On the Album Top10, Owl City’s “The Midsummer Station” climbs back to the top for a second week. But Owl City has an even better reason to be happy. His second studio album “Ocean Eyes” never made the Top10 in my charts so far – until now! The album provides the biggest surprise this week and enters at #3.

While also Nicki’s album re-enters at #7, both Madonna and Lana Del Rey get a new certification. “MDNA” earns the first platinum certification for the Queen Of Pop, while Lana’s “Born To Die” gets 7x Gold. And note that there were only three albums with 4x Platinum (=8x Gold) so far: Lady GaGa’s “The Fame Monster”, Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” and Adele’s “21”.

I knew you would like to see her topping the charts

                              .

First predictions for the next week

Next week, there will enter a bunch of new entries the Top20. While "She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)" by David Guetta ft. Sia and "Stardust" by Lena are both competitors for the first place (beside Taylor), also "Chasing The Sun" by The Wanted, "Cockiness (Love It)" by Rihanna and "Anything Could Happen" by Ellie Gouling could get a high debut.

So there will be many changes in the Singles Top20.

In the album charts, the only new entry will be "Nothing But The Beat 2.0" by David Guetta, while "Talk That Talk" by Rihanna could come back. Will one of them be strong enough to beat "The Midsummer Station"?

I will publish my new charts - as always - this thursday morning

                                  • It is always # | Last Week | Time In | Highest Position - Artist - Song or Album

Like predicted, there are five new entries this week. The highest two were strong enough to pull away Taylor’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” from the top spot, which falls 1-3. The crown this week goes to David Guetta and Sia and their new single “She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)”. It’s the second number one song for this collabo, after “Titanium” hit #1 last year. Not far behind them – at #2 – there is the new single by german sweetheart Lena (Meyer-Landrut). Lena made her first charts appearance in 2010, when “Satellite” won the Eurovision Song Contest and was at number one on my charts too. A year later, in early 2011, “Taken By A Stranger” climbed to #2 (also thanks to her Eurovision Song Contest performance – she ended up as 10th!). So “Stardust” is already her third single and the third, which enters the Top2.

Also new are The Wanted. The boygroup enters with “Chasing The Sun” at #9 – their first single ever in my Top20! The other two new entries are by Rihanna and Ellie Goulding, whose both misses the Top10. Rihanna (feat. the rapper A$AP Rocky) enters at #13 with “Cockiness (Love It)”, the sixth single of “Talk That Talk”, while Ellie Goulding enters at #14 with “Anything Could Happen”.

Apart from those new entries, Carrie Underwood gets her first certification for a single with “Blown Away” getting Gold this week. Also, Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen both get their first Platinum certification ever for their collaboration “Good Time”.

While “National Anthem” by Lana Del Rey gets also a Gold certification (so every single of her got a certification so far), her “Video Games” falls 11-15. It’s the lowest position of the song so far, except the first week at #18.

David Guetta’s re-release “Nothing But The Beat 2.0” enters the Album-Top10 at #2. So it wasn’t strong enough to debut on top. There is still “The Midsummer Station” by Owl City, now for the third week! Owl City’s other album – “Ocean Eyes” – remains surprisingly stable at #3.

Tarja’s “Act I” already leaves the Top3 – after only two weeks in it – falling 2 – 4. Back in the Top10 is Rihanna’s “Talk That Talk” at #6, thanks to the success of her new single.

                                    week 37/2012 – 13 September 2012
