  • I wait "Kingdom Come" debut on the next week in this chart.
My celebrity crushes : Monika Sedziuviene, Kristina Ivanova (YVA).
In my head I like to imagine LastDreamer in the land of Lithuania right now with a suitcase of simcards, a box of chocolates and a wedding ring. It would be a great base for an epic Eurovision fan fiction.

Quick PokéUpdate: I finished Sword (well, not the entire Curry Dex or Battle Tower, but the main story and post-game mini-story). Lately I've dived into Temtem, since I kept reading comparisons to Pokémon. It's only in "early access" for now, so the game isn't complete, but I'm enjoying the parts of it that are available. Did Sword ever manage to suck you back in?
        • I don't know Doja Cat well (aside from her feature on Tove's album), but I'm pretty impressed with "Boss Bitch" on first listen. It reminds me a bit of Nicki's catchy rap/dance hybrids from the early-2010's ("Starships," "Va Va Voom," etc).
        • Great to see "You Should Be Sad" still inside your Top 3, since I'm still loving it too. I wasn't expecting "Alanis' Interlude" to be the highest-charting new Manic track, though! Is it cause your bussy's a wonderland? "I Hate Everybody" really stood out to me (SO relatable sometimes) "Dominic's Interlude" and "Still Learning" are also among my most-played so far.
        • I'm definitely digging "Physical" more than "Don't Start Now."
        • I appreciate what Tay's trying to say in "Only The Young," but the chorus is a tad too simple and repetitive to hook me the way many of her other songs do. Having a children's choir in the background isn't up-my-alley either.
        • I remember you were into "Genetics" back when Meghan dropped it as a random single, so I'm not too shocked to see the album version with PCD start strong here. "Ashes" has been the clear Treat Myself standout for me (of the new tracks), but the album's better than I expected overall given its messy/complicated release history.
        • I still need to get around to High Road.
Yet another chart that's large and in charge, Tancel!
Hm... I already saw it once you changed the title of your personal chart to just the chart name without a new date. I can understand why, but it's still sad and even though I haven't replied much, I always followed your chart and it was such a pleasure to do so. I still love how Halsey & Selena did so well and topped both of our charts

Glad to get a PokéUpdate Also great to hear you've finished it! Unfortunately, I didn't play at all in the last few weeks. Haven't heard of Temtem yet, will google it! But while I didn't play games, I got a lot into some series lately like Locke & Key, The Witcher, Next In Fashion (all on Netflix) or Star Trek: Picard. So my free time is usually spent with watching those series lately...

YAS! So happy you checked out & enjoyed Doja Cat's "Boss Bitch"! I need to dive more into her work, but this has been a random discovery for me two weeks ago. I read a lot about her on here and she just released this, so I thought I may check it out and it was love on first listen. It's basically what I was looking for from Nicki in the last five years or so.

"You Should Be Sad" is awesome! It needed some time for me, but I really, really appreciate it now. Fingers crossed it becomes a big hit - I can definitely see it being a huge radio hit. Ha, yes, "Alanis' Interlude" is an unexpected choice as my favorite album track. While that line is my favorite line on the song by far, it's just the edgy, rocky vibe that really gets me here. A fusion of my favorite genres. Haha... isn't it weird that we both have 'interludes' as our most played/personal faves? Doesn't happen often How do you enjoy "Manic" overall? Did she meet your expectations?

"Physical" is another great song, really excited for her album now! Also loving this 80s-Pop-revival with The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" and Dua's singles I still enjoy "Don't Start Now" a lot more and "Physical" is completely overshadowed by everything that has been released this week for me, but I'm sure I get a lot into it once "Future Nostalgia" drops. Speaking of the album... how did you enjoy the title track, that was a promo single some weeks ago?

Ok, I enjoyed "Only The Young" a lot at first, but I have to agree with you now. Didn't stick with me for that long

Yes to everything Meghan related! "Genetics" would be a great single in the future, I like it so much more now. What about you? "Ashes" is also a standout to me, "Wave" remains the best by far though. I hope it's finally growing on you through the album now... and yes, that really is better than expected. A shame it doesn't do well at all

Well, can't wait for your feedback on "High Road" - it's a huge disappointment for me but I'm still hoping it's a big grower.

        Thank you so, so much!!

Not yet... as it's not officially released over here. I hope they put it out soon, as I can't wait to hear the studio version. The live version sounded nice (but not as amazing as I was hoping for, so hopefully a grower there) and I'm so happy she made it to the final

                  • Nice to see the debuts for "No Judgement", "The Man", "Let's Be Friends", "No Shame" and "Know Your Worth"! Speaking of the latter, #26 and #28 are "Know Your Worth", was this a mistake?
Also, I never knew that Jamie-Lee has another single. Maybe I should check it out sometime.
                    Great chart as always!

                    • ^ Oh, thanks a lot for pointing that out with #26/#28! I was so tired when I compiled the chart... but Khalid & Disclosure's "Know Your Worth" is actually #26 while at #28 is a new entry for Adam Lambert feat. Nile Rodgers with "Roses"

Glad there's a bunch of new arrivals you also enjoy.
Yes, Jamie-Lee released another song. Not sure if you already heard it, but she already released a new song in Fall 2019 called "Flying".

                      Thank you!

                                    • Due to me being super busy, I have almost no time for Ukmix anymore (apart from a very few threads and posts) but I just wanna say that I absolutely LOVE your #1s. "Noise" is the best song by Nigthwish (Floor as a vocalist) they have ever recorded and it made me really excited about the upcoming material again.

I was in Poland last week(end) and I bought Delain's new album there since it only costs 9 Euros...I'm glad I didn't leave it at the store because it's their best album to date!!!!!!!

That's great news! "No Time To Die" is amazing, a shame the competition is so strong for me at the moment, as it could have been an easy #1 in many other weeks. "To Die For" seems to be a grower and hopefully another hit for Sam.

                                            Thanks!

Aww, I already noticed that - and you're not the only one. UKMix is getting smaller and smaller lately

Anyways, thanks for still coming by & commenting on the #1s! Glad you approve them! Nightwish really did an amazing comeback with "Noise". I'm still not sick of it and I think it has everything to be a Nightwish classic. As much as I adored "Élan", it didn't give me those classic feelings. Especially pleased you're into it considering you weren't a fan of Floor as their lead singer so far.

Also amazing to hear you bought Delain's new album! I actually wanted to hit you up about it as I knew you would enjoy it, but I wasn't sure if you already knew the band or not. It's my very first album by them and definitely not the last, it's just so good. Definitely in my Top3 of the year so far alongside Selena and Halsey

Haven't heard of Temtem yet, will google it! But while I didn't play games, I got a lot into some series lately like Locke & Key, The Witcher, Next In Fashion (all on Netflix) or Star Trek: Picard. So my free time is usually spent with watching those series lately...
I'm a tad sad to hear that PokéHype really died down for you again, but it's awesome that you've discovered so many addictive new shows lately! My bf just started watching Picard too, but I'm not very familiar with Star Trek in general. Have you seen most of the movies and older series?

Fingers crossed it becomes a big hit - I can definitely see it being a huge radio hit. Ha, yes, "Alanis' Interlude" is an unexpected choice as my favorite album track. While that line is my favorite line on the song by far, it's just the edgy, rocky vibe that really gets me here. A fusion of my favorite genres. Haha... isn't it weird that we both have 'interludes' as our most played/personal faves? Doesn't happen often. How do you enjoy "Manic" overall? Did she meet your expectations?
Yes PLZ! It'd feel like a little redemption for my beloved "Alone" flopping so hard The Interlude thing is definitely funny, but it probably helps that most of the Interludes on Manic are 2-3min long, which has become a common length for songs in general in the streaming era. That said, "Dominic's Interlude" is only 1:16, and I still think it's pretty brilliant <3 I'm not sure if I prefer Hopeless Fountain Kingdom VS Manic (I never checked out Badlands in full), but the fact that it's such a close/tough call is a good sign.

Also loving this 80s-Pop-revival with The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" and Dua's singles. I still enjoy "Don't Start Now" a lot more and "Physical" is completely overshadowed by everything that has been released this week for me, but I'm sure I get a lot into it once "Future Nostalgia" drops. Speaking of the album... how did you enjoy the title track, that was a promo single some weeks ago?
I like it! It'd rank in the middle for me: "Physical" -> "Future Nostalgia" -> "Don't Start Now" (I know a lot of people adore DSN, and I'm glad it gave her another global smash - even Top 10 on the Hot 100 - but it's just OK for me).

"Ashes" is also a standout to me, "Wave" remains the best by far though. I hope it's finally growing on you through the album now... and yes, that really is better than expected. A shame it doesn't do well at all.
"Genetics" didn't click with me at all back when she dropped the solo version, but the album version actually grew on me quite a bit after a week or so. That "G-E-N-E-T-I-C-S" part finally started sticking in my head (and the addition of Nicole's killer vocals didn't hurt either).

I've been checking it out this past week, and I'd agree that it's the most disappointing album I've heard in 2020 so far. A lot of tracks feel like a weird hybrid of her sassy/frisky party girl attitude from her earlier albums combined with the more pop/rock-y sound of Rainbow, which doesn't blend together well for the most part. That said, the Kesha ft. Ke$ha track is probably my favorite across the whole album "Kinky" is just so damn catchy: "baby, you're, my lover, we can go find some others..." Other early favorites are "BFF," "Birthday Suit," and "Shadow."
                                                  • I'm a little bummed that "Delete Forever" didn't enter on top like most of her other recent singles/promo tracks, since it quickly became one of my favorites from this era. Still, Top 2 isn't bad at all, and maybe the official album release will nudge it even higher...? Speaking of her album, I can't believe how packed these first two months of 2020 have been! I'm still enjoying Manic and Treat Myself quite a bit, just started checking out High Road, got back into Rare after reading about "Dance Again"...and now both Grimes and Allie X have dropped new albums too! It's exciting, but I'm glad I stepped back from UKMIX a bit, since I can't keep up.
                                                  • I wasn't feeling "Yummy" at all, but "Intentions" was a pleasant surprise! It's still not up there with his all-time-best, but definitely a step in the right direction.
                                                  • I like that CRJ's experimenting with a new sound/style on "Let's Be Friends," and I'd be interested to hear more from her in a similar vein, but this particular song isn't working for me.
                                                  • "The Man" deserves so much better, though Is this another case of a song becoming a single too long after the album hype died down/you'd already played it a lot before it started charting?
Yet another chart that sounds good to me, Tancel!

You know, at least there was a good moment when I got really back into the Pokémood. Fingers crossed this will be the beginning and with the upcoming new stuff, maybe I'll get back into it even more. Ah, how does he like it so far? I wasn't too familiar with the Star Trek universe until I met my partner. He showed me one of the series (Star Trek Voyager) and we basically watched all seven seasons through 2018 and 2019. I also watched the two seasons of the current series Star Trek Discovery plus we just watched two movies on Friday & Saturday (from 1996 and 2002). So I'm slowly becoming a real fan of this franchise

Haha true... and it really looks like it's becoming a hit for her! Also really pleased with how the album is doing in the US, it's been in the Top10 for three weeks. Yes, those aren't really interludes for me, they just have that word in their titles. I also have similar feelings when it comes to comparing her albums. Personally, I thought "hopeless fountain kingdom" had the stronger standouts, while "Manic" is better as a whole body of work. It just feels so good to have one of the Pop girls actually delivering something that can be compared to her previous album and not being a disappointment...

Hm, maybe it will grow on you when she releases the album? It's easily my fave of the three so far, "Physical" second with "Future Nostalgia" third. And even though it's my least favorite so far, I still think it's rather underrated among fans. What I really like about the era so far is how she completely reinvented herself compared to her debut, visually and musically, yet she's still Dua. That's something I would've expect from Zara Larsson...

Completely agreed with your opinion about "High Road". It's kinda sad how all of her albums reached #1 on my charts and went Gold or more (100+ points) but "High Road" only peaked at #7 and left the charts with 20 points... "Honey" and "Cowboy Blues" are my clear standouts though so I wonder what you think about those?

You know, going against Nightwish would have been tough for everyone and even though I really like it, "Delete Forever" is probably my least favorite single of "Miss Anthropocene" so far, so a #2 debut was still great for her. Don't see #1 happening at this point, but you never know. Glad you enjoy it that much though! Also agreed about how busy 2020 has been so far and it's not going to get less busy in the next few weeks it seems. There are already a bunch of big new releases for March and April... will be interesting to see if the year gets calmer in the second half or if 2020 becomes one of the busiest years ever.

I do like "Intentions" and have a love/hate relationship with "Yummy", but as you say, both are still not among his best ones ever. It's a bit sad how his comeback turned out to be this... unexciting?

Same here. It's nice and catchy but she keeps getting weaker for me. Fingers crossed she'll get back on track really soon!

Good point about "The Man"'s performance here. You know, the song was never among my faves on "Lover" to begin with, more like in the middle, and I've played the album a lot in the last few months (definitely a big surprise compared to "Reputation") so yes, that's one of the reason for its weak performance here alongside it not being one of my standouts anyway. If she'd release "Miss Americana", it would be a big hit for sure, though I also think it won't be as big as it would have been as the third single instead.

                                                    Thank you so much
