After Viki Gabor's incredible victory in Gliwice, Silesia, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Poland again. At first, Kraków had been announced as the host of the event but due to Covid-19 as well as financial issues, the contest was moved to a TV station in Warsaw.
After the cancellation of Eurovision 2020, I am actually quite excited about JESC - at least, we will get some "Eurovision" feeling in November this year (hopefully!)

Shocking and exciting news!

GERMANY will finally DEBUT at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest!

What we know:
- After observing the contest for a few years, Germany decided to debut after an excellently executed show in Gliwice
- Three broadcaster will work together to find our entry: KiKa (a channel for children), NDR (responsible for Eurovision) and ZDF
- Our entry will be composed by Levent Geiger
- The contest will be broadcast live on KiKi (5 pm on 29th November, 2020)
- a music video will be filmed and it will involve this year's slogan "Move The World"

Spain is rumoured to try Melani Garcia for the second time in a row which is rare for the jESC (Katya Ryabova from Russia'2009 and Russia'2011 is the only artist who came back to jESC for a second time).

RTVE has released a minute snippet of their entry by Soleá which is called "Palante" and it is quite modern.

The Spanish entry sounds so much better than 90% of Spain's entries in the adult version of the contest. The arrangement is ace!

Little wonder since the song has been written by César G. Ross, Hajar Sbihi & Bruno Valverde who previously worked with Pastora Soler, Becky G & Lola Indigo.

Poland just released the new version of its entry + its accompanying music video and honestly, it's quite a well-produced bop - Not as strong as their two winning entries but I think that a Top 3 is in the bag + justified.

My favourites remain the same
: BELARUS and SPAIN, though.

Awesome news! Alicja (Poland ESC 2020) will be finally able to perform her Eurovision entry on stage for an international audience!!! She will join the other three as an interval act!
