Also, first rehearsal footage will only be uploaded on tiktok..ugh.

Not feeling the pink hair tbh, but that's just my personal opinion.

      • A solution has been confirmed and Israel will be present

While it’s not one of my favourite songs this year, I think it’s good news that they’ll be there.

        • From the very small clips we have of the performances...sadly Ronela hasn't gone all out Game Of Thrones for Albania as I'd hoped...but my guilty pleasure Slovenia have a very cool enormous disco ball!

I'm still rooting for Albania. Maybe they'll do some last minute changes. And btw Slovenia and Sweden are growing on me now.

100% it's how you sell the song.

I don't like the outfit at all, big mess alert. I don't mind the wig (Christina Aguilera Your Body vibes) even though she looks better with red I think. The outfit needs to go and I think I read somewhere that she's changing/trying different outfits. Wiwibloggs said that there will be an LGBT vibe between her and the female dancer lol I'm certain now that this is going to be a messy performance. In any case, it will be a strong opening entry.

                  • More from Dutch rehearsal. Loving S10 and the song BUT where are the laser lights we saw on the Dutch talk show performance? I'm disappointed I'll wait for the full rehearsal though as I can't really judge based on a few seconds.

                    • I think Moldova and Latvia are strong enough to qualify. Latvia gave me Iceland 2014 vibes, Moldova being Moldova. Both should be top 10 with the public.

Love this. It’s such a performance piece and she never breaks character. I know there’s obviously more than 6 people in this video but I quite like the idea of other people joining her at a table like this rather than her being alone on stage.

Eurovision: The Official All-Time Most Streamed Songs revealed including ABBA, Måneskin, Duncan Laurence, Dadi Freyr and more

Official Charts Company can reveal the Official Top 100 most streamed Eurovision Song Contest tracks ever
                                  By Carl Smith
Arcade by Duncan Laurence is the UK's Official All-Time Most Streamed Eurovision Song Contest entry, Official Charts Company can reveal.

The list, compiled using official UK audio and video streaming data, sees the Netherlands' 2019 representative Duncan claim the top spot with over 55 million streams of his winning song. At the time, he became the fifth Dutch contestant ever to have won the competition.

Arcade's success is thanks, in part, to the song's unexpected resurgence on TikTok last year. At the time, he told OfficialCharts.com: "It started growing and growing on TikTok, but also on digital music platforms such as Spotify. And it’s still growing!"

ABBA's 1974 track Waterloo places second on the list. The song, which saw the group take victory for their homeland of Sweden, boasts almost 42 million UK streams to date.

MORE: Your definitive guide to Eurovision 2022

Icelandic artist Daši Freyr finds himself at Number 3 with his 2020 entry Think About Things. Despite the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning the song wasn't performed, Daši's would've-been entry has racked up over 32 million streams in the UK to date.

Elsewhere in the Top 5, 2012 winner Loreen makes Number 4 with Euphoria. The track, which saw her take the crown for Sweden with a staggering 372 points, has been streamed almost 20 million times in the UK.

Rounding out the Top 5 are the contest's reigning champions; Italian representatives Måneskin. The group's winning song, Zitti E Buoni, reached the Official Singles Chart Top 20 in their week of victory, and has since accumulated over 19.5 million streams in the UK.

Other notable Top 10 entries come courtesy of 2009 Norwegian winner Alexander Rybak with the irresistibly-catchy Fairytale (6), Netta's quirky track Toy (7) and the first of the United Kingdom's entries on the list; Bucks Fizz's 1981 winner Making Your Mind Up.

In total, the UK features in the Top 100 list 17 times, including appearances from Gina G's 1996 entry Ooh Aah... Just a Little Bit (15), James Newman's 2021 track Embers (17) and Scooch's (immensely underrated, if you ask us) Flying the Flag (For You) (62).

This whole thing with Ronela seems super unfair considering they have already seen a “live on tape” performance of the song and not made them change anything previously. In the past we’ve had the Polish milk maids, Icelandic BDSM and many many other sexualised performances, there’s suggestions it may be due to Chinese sponsorship (with TikTok) due to some homoerotic parts with her dancers. If that is the case, they should be ashamed, when the Chinese broadcasters cut Ryan O’Shaughnessys performance a few years back, the ESC quite rightly cut the rest of their feed and now they are pandering to Chinese sponsors?

They should be concentrating on fixing the broken stage which multiple delegations have complained about.

                                            • There seems to be a lot of drama this year + most entries are not as great as most entries from previous years. Guess it had to happen at some point... so far, I'm not that impressed with this years contest and now I just hope the live shows will change that (though I won't be able to even watch the second Semi )

it finished top 5, it wasn't exactly a flop (esp. for a host country)

I think he meant flop entry in terms of chart performance (peak).
