Slovenia - surprised they went with this after LPS last year. Non qualifier.

Really really happy for Blanca Paloma. It was by far the best performance of the night. It’s elegant, it’s modern and folklore at the same time and she’s such a trained singer.
I guess many people won’t get it in ESC and she’s obviously not going to repeat Chanel’s steps. But I’m really proud of my country’s entry this year, whatever the result.

Blanca Paloma was, by far, the best of the night. Vicco, Fusa nocta and Agoney had better songs but they were either terrible vocally and/or had a messy staging (whoever did that Agoney's choreo needs to quit lol it looked so damn chaotic and loose)Beauty is beauty, whether is black or white

Besides, I also felt the same way about Shum and 1944 when I first heard them and they became two of my favourite entries.THIS WEEKS TOP 5

Don't judge me but I love this
She only came 3rd but doing pretty well on the charts after the final, also no dislikes for the performance on Youtube so farthis will be the anthem of Spanish ghey clubs this summer for sure

Fulenn was more like Terra (big favouriteTanxugeiras from last year's Benidorm fest who sang in a regional language).
EAEA reminds me more of a mix of 1944 and Corpore Sano in the sense that it has the vocals, the ritual-like vibe and the theatrical/artistic performance.

It's the hit from this year's Benidorm fest (last year's hit was Mama).

Ah, lots of winners being chosen today.
Kinda interesting how Estonia goes with 6:30 as their time though. Don't people eat dinner at that time?

My favourite song in the Danish final:
However, I'm also certain Reiley will win:
Also, it looks like Marco Mengoni will win SanRemo festival and represent Italy (he said he would go to Eurovision), exactly 10 years after his first participation (Malmo 2013). So, another male singer for Italy in Eurovision
I don't think it's worth watching the Maltese final mainly because they will find another (Swedish-penned) song to send to Eurovision.Last edited by greek_boy; Sat February 11, 2023, 12:11.

This is the 2nd "biggest" Supersaturday Eurovision fans have ever experienced (the biggest one was back in 2008 when 8 entries got decided on a single night!) but I don´t feel excited at all.
ITALY got a few songs I really like. Marco Mengoni´s song is one of them.. even though he´s arguably got better songs in his discography. He´s one of the biggest acts in Italy and I appreciate it that there are still a few countries which are eager to send their biggest and most well-established acts to Eurovision.
My favourite entry is this one though:
He´s taking up on streams and votes, though - who knows... Maneskin, btw, as winners were a surprise as well. They hadn´t even been close to Top 3/Top 5 the other nights before the final... nothing is set in stone right now!
DENMARK is hopeless once again. They come up with a fantastic production and a magnificiant stage but all entries are either dull or mediocre. I don´t think they will advance to the final for a third year in a row. Like greek_boy already pointed out, there are only two songs which might sneak into the final: EYJAA or Reiley should win tonight. I lowkey like the first one whilst Reiley´s song somehow sound contemporary, at least.
ROMANIA is a complete mess. After last year´s success, I thought of them actually putting an effort into finding another great bop to make Europe dance to but that national final is tragic as hell. It doesn´t matter who´s going to win tonight. Most songs are either trashy or non-competitive.
CROATIA came up with a few surprises and is the one to watch out for tonight. It´s a pity that DORA hasn´t been cut to 5 or 10 songs max., though. I´m praying that Damir Kedzo is not going to win this. His song sounds like a reject from 2013.
MALTA cancelled themselves after disqualifying the one and only competitive entry they had: "Regina" by Aidan. They are left with amateurish, cheap, trashy, chanceless tracks. I like The Busker´s songs which is quite different to the rest but I don´t think it has chances to perform well at Eurovision. The "huge" favourite Brooke (she´s definitely going to win) is singing a very dated and cheesy Swedish reject which would not qualify in May 100%! - If she wins, I think she will change her song after winning tonight. That´s quite common in Malta, anyway and thus, what´s the point of torturing yourself by watching this hell of a national final?
LATVIA is another national final without any great songs, imo. Markus Riva is trying it once again and has become really stale. Another horribly trashy song...the only song (and apparently it´s one of the bookies´favourite) I truly love is this one:
ESTONIA got a few lovely songs, though - and that´s the national final I´m going to watch (and then I will switch to Italy because Sanremo got some classy and competitive songs) - my favourite song, however, is apparently last (bookies, ranks by the competiting acts and just qualified as a wildcard after a mediocre live performance xD).
All in all, even though it´s the 2nd "biggest" Super Saturday" we are about to experience, I don´t feel euphoric or really excited about it.
I´m pretty sure to rank Romania, Latvia, Denmark inside my bottom 5 for now (or even in May)..depending on who´s going to win.. and Malta is not really a national final at all.Mainshow Goes Diva: Kylie Minogue

Congratulations, Estonia!
Alika slayed and had the most impressive performance tonight.
Ollie would have performed well in May but I really disliked that "mothers who listened to Nickleback in the day" type of rock.
Alika´s song is more boring but she can clearly make up for it by delivering an impressive, impactful and incredible live performance. She delivered tonight.Mainshow Goes Diva: Kylie Minogue
