Effects such as "bloc voting" and "diaspora" are natural side effects which canīt be "cured" whereas jury members voting for neighbours, exchanging votes, downvoting songs due to politics and betting odd is pure vile and harms the integrity of the contest.

Cyprus and Albania instead of Switzerland and Azerbaijan.
Albania was a big mess so I think they did not deserve to qualify. They didn't get many televoting points (most points came from the Albanian diaspora: Greece, Switzerland and Italy).
Sekret had a very strong performance in the national performance but they completely messed it up in Turin.
Austria's bop deserved to have a spot in the [boring] final. Yes, it wasn't a great live performance but it was a BOP and people had fun during the song's performance

Btw, I forgot to mention that I attended Het Grote Songfestivalfest a week ago!
The show is fantastic. it feels like Eurovision but without voting haha. So many stars (over 10 ESC winners attended the show) in one show. 3 hours of entertainment. The Dutch gave us a great production. I really hope Ziggo Dome is the arena that hosts Eurovision next time the country wins!
We met some ESC stars after the show at the hotel lobby next to Ziggo Dome arena and I managed to speak to Helena Paparizou (Greece 2005) and take a photo with her!
Gjon Tears was very friendly, Stefania and Duncan left the arena very quickly with security guards, Carola looked like a diva (giving Mariah Carey vibes) but took photos with some fans, the Azeri Mata Hari (Efendi) was STUNNING..she's so tiny and beautiful and enjoyed the attention from fans. Most fans went crazy when Kateryna from Go_A made an entrance! Lastly, Mans Zelmerow was friendly but clearly tired (he's smaller than we all thought)
Oh, Rylan was also there (he's a giant), I don't know why though since BBC won't broadcast the event... There are some rumours that he will be one of the hosts...

Ukraineīs recap:
Estoniaīs recap:
Estonia has a couple of nice songs, imo. I love "Bad Philosphy" and "Bridges".
When it comes to Ukraine, I think that the overall qualitiy has dropped.
Last year, I would have placed 4 of their entries inside my personal Eurovision Top 5 (I think that it was incredibly strong, the best national final of the season and that they deserved to win).
This time, I think itīs too many generic fillers (especially the horrible songs penned by Swedish composers ("Stronger").
VORCHIīs song sounds like a half-baked idea and is such a letdown!
Oy Sound System could have been interesting but the intro takes bascially one third of the song and the instrumental parts are dragging - they could surprise us with a great and mesmerising performance but overall, itīs just bland and too artsy-fartsy without making a statement).
"Ia Vdoma", "Alive" (even though I adore his voice) and "Iīm Not Alone" (lovely strings, though) are quite vanilla.
BUT Jerry Heilīs song is massive and could have been huge on stage - it combines folklore elements but is quite modern, the rap doesnīt sound as forced as in Pashīs entry and she even came up with some "opera parts".
My favourite entry is this one, though:
Itīs absolutely gorgeous and mesmerising. I love the eerie atmosphere... itīs hauntingly beautiful and if staged well, she could create a very special moment on stage (especially if sheīs been accompanied by her bandura). I think that it could be as impactful as Estonia 2009!Mainshow Goes Diva: Kylie Minogue
