Huge figures for Blue Planet is brilliant. Sir David is an absolute legend and I look forward to an annual wildlife documentary with his narration... here’s hoping he’s around for a while yet - but he is 91 after all... actually, I’m surprised they never turned him into a satnav voice. Perfect for it.

Disappointing viewing figures for Howard’s End - the prime time BBC 9PM Sunday slot is the biggest the BBC has to offer, and should be getting more than it is. I’m a sucker for a period drama though.

Considering how easy you can access media nowadays...
I found myself skipping my favorite shows and to watch them later, without the commercial breaks.
For example, Dancing With The Stars here runs for 3h, with almost 45min of commercial breaks throughout the show. You literally watch two dances and get a 10min break. It's driving me crazy.
Internet really gave a new way to experience things we love watching. And so did Netflix to an extent.
