    Could be interesting.
I am not trying to seduce you... Would you like me to seduce you? Is that what you're trying to tell me?

After the success of 'Bohemian Rhapsody', it was just a matter of time until Hollywood prepared the next biopic about a musical icon.

I love Elton's music so I'm definitely gonna watch it.

I love Taron and I believe he could play anything with great director standing behind him and this is the case!

I am SO excited for this!

It's received mixed reviews thus far - some very positive, some very average - but I love the man and I love his music so I need to see it.

Mainly positive from what I’ve read. Not sure how this will do compared to, say, Bohemian Rhapsody - both box office wise and awards.

I don’t think it’s going to reach Bohemian Rhapsody heights either but I’d like to watch it at the cinema.

Agreed, plus Taron Egerton is much more engaging as an actor than Rami Malek.

A friend of mine went to see this picture. She was impressed with it. The cinema in Sheffield was full, she couldn't get in on the first showing! So it should do well box office wise. It plays out with when he released I'm Still Standing.

Has anybody saw that? Is it any good?

I liked it, I didn’t love it. Taron Egerton was fantastic though, really enchanting performance from him.

I didn’t like how the film basically blamed everyone else for Elton’s problems, and how they broke into song randomly like an episode of Glee. But it was visually stunning and the acting was top notch.

I agree! The acting was great but Elton's story didn't touch me as much as Freddie Mercury's in BR.

I have not seen BR yet, so I can't compare.
That said, I must say I actually pretty much loved the movie overall. I am normally not a fan of musical movies but I think it was set up great.

This was cute but waaaaaayyy too similar to Bohemian Rhapsody, it felt like watching the same movie. Also BR did it better.

I feel exactly the same! The Glee moments were the worst thing for me. An enjoyable watch and good story, but no Bohemian Rhapsody.

I think it was all right. It felt much more real than the Queen's one.

I’m really pleased for him. Hopefully he’ll get an Oscar nom now but not guaranteed.
