My flatmates re-heat coffee in the microwave, that's even worse.

Hot drinks (except for coffee) are a winter thing for me. In the summer, I prefer cold / iced tea.

Okay, we need to settle this. https://www.ukmix.org/showthread.php...33#post7045933

Milk-less tea is not pleasant (unless its a herby variant like Green Tea or Mint Tea).

There’s a special place in hell for people who put milk in the cup before hot water.

Yes, it totally makes a difference - you're probably one of those people who puts milk in before (hot) water?

Does it really make a difference when you put the tea bag in? I mean Adele didn't do that in her Hello video

It's a dream most companies sell.

    It doesn't exist.

But one thing is for sure, the more a company brags about having great "work life balance" the more they lack it. Had to experience that first hand while working for a consulting company.

    How do you save water?

And does a microwave use less power than a kettle? If it does, there can’t be much difference.

Tea is meant to have hot water poured onto it, any tea maker will tell you that.
