^i like watching these too, even though I'm like "whaaattt how can you not know this  " most of the time (on the other hand, this is coming from someone who said he doesn't know one Barbra song, so maybe I should shut up ). That one girl (Brooklyn i think) is really cool and gives me hope though.

Wait I also did watch it a few days ago and I was like "who are these people I've never heard of?"
I like the opposite of those - where the teens react to songs from the 90s or whatever. It's always interesting to see what songs persista nd which don't. One of the ones I watched was One Sweet Day - I think some of them knew it was Mariah Carey, but no one knew the song. And the facilitator mentioned "this spent the most weeks at #1 ever!" They were all "I have never ever heard of this."

So happy I was young in the 80s.
We had Madonna, Whitney, Janet, Michael,
Kylie, Paula Abdul, Debbie Gibson, Martika,
Miami Sound Machine, Cyndi Lauper, Eurythmics,
Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie and Wham!
    high on the charts.

I have no faith in humanity anymore. Every single one of those hip hop songs and artists are abysmal.
I mean, I'm all for Urban music making a comeback but I didn't expect this to be this tragic. I use both G-Eazy & Cardi though. Both are good.

90s watered down R&B for me was one of the lowest points
But trap and EDM are gigging that hole deeper with ease

There are some great and and sick Rock tunes from the 80s.

But as a fan of Rock music, I have to say that 60s, 70s and 90s were indeed much better and superior for Rock music than 80s.

I hate that barnyard EDM seems to be coming back though; wed only just gotten rid of it.

Yeah, at least some of these songs are still bops that you can dance to, sometimes. EDM songs were just party poopers.
