The movie is a guilty pleasure. It's not really ambitious cinema, but it's worth it. The soundtrack is great. For Halloween, a lot of people dress up as Ali (Christina's character), so I can say it's a classic. Classique.

So I watched all the AMA performanes and Dua's was the best hand down.

I don't understand why all of the performances of popular male artists are so extremely low effort, bad and boring. They'll literally just stand there singing off key

All of them SWEAR that MJ, Prince and Queen are their idols but none of these new pop boys put even 0.01% of the effort as them in their performances. A mediocre tragedy.

There were always a lot of stars in the audience (VMA 2003), at VMA 2019 there were... 5 famous people? So why should they try? Nobody watches music awards anymore. Hopefully the Grammy doesn't nominate BTS to boost views.

The 2003 VMAs were like a superstar parade ... everyone hot and “it” at the time was there. Literally everyone was there.

Back in the day, it was really about being present and so everyone knew what Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake or Eminem were doing. These days, it's soooo quiet. Some of them just release an album to have an excuse to tour and then disappear from the public eye, so I guess they can't be bothered to attend award shows. They just lack passion.
