I genuinely thought for years that Beyonces album before Lemonade was actually called " Self Titled"

At this point she should just go for the best track. Single potential (when it comes to charting) is pretty much guaranteed to be 0 on any track she releases.
Also it's not really about hot 100 success, it's about bringing attention to the project as a whole. Releasing We Belong Together take 75 was pointless.

@beredy: It's probably not a priority for her, but if she released her personal 'Blurred Lines', I'm sure that it would be a success because the song alone would outdo the fact that she's 40+ - even in the US.

I think I actually prefer the Top 3 or 4 on Lemonade, but the rest on self-titled is much better than the rest on Lemonade.
While self-titled has its lows (Pretty Hurts, XO, Blue), it doesn't go quite as tragically low as Lemonade (Love Drought, Sandcastles, Pray You Catch Me).

What is going on with all these dusty diva stans competing to get their faves old ass albums to #1 on iTunes?

You've got a point, I'm usually not a fan of songs with a similiar sound to 'Partition'. It fits in the context of the album and the intro is iconic, making me see past its ratchtetness, I guess.

I'm actually surprised you like Partition tbh
