  • How in the hell Madonna became best selling female artist of all time? Mariah sold more albums in US and Asia, Céline Dion sold more albums in Europe, i don't think she sold that much in the rest of the world.

    • She has just been very consintent across the globe and has had bigger single success. Mariah and Celine were always more about albums. (Mariah's single success is very US centered). They might have been bigger in some continents but lack in others so Madonna wins in the end

      • I think someone on Selena Gomez's team need to tell her that the word "Revival" in English and "Revelacion" in Spanish have nothing to do with each other.

              • Or we don't cancel artists based on personal things they say or do, but judge their art instead as everything else is a holier-than-though type of argumentation.

From the old gang... nobody has benefited more from digital track sales and streaming than Mariah. She has actually doubled her singles "sales" with digital sales and streaming between 2003 to today,

chartsmasters had the good sis at 87 million singles a couple of years ago... she's probably at around 95 million today with AIWFCIY pulling in 2m in the US per annual now.

Whitney was the realest of them all. She had such a big heart. I remember seeing her backstage at Madonna's superbowl, jumping up and down and being jolly and happy and cheering for Miss Ciccone.

watching this reminds me of what a loser Bobby Brown was, is and will ever be. Lord, Whitney... why him? That man... could never live with the fact that he was a mere late 80s fad while Whitney was a legend by the time the 90s had just started. The way she referred to him as the "king of R&B" was so cringe. Whitney deserved a prince who worshipped her and not this absolute trainwreck of a man that Bobby was (and continues to be).

I know some ppl will come at me and say... she did it all to herself... yess, she did and she was flawed... but that man... did make it all even worse. His depiction on MAD TV is exactly what I believe he was... Whitney should have left him 10 years earlier than she did. Maybe she would still be alive today.

I would love Steve Grand to be more popular on here. I mean he's a nice guy, is very talented (He plays multiple instruments and most of his two albums' songs were written by himself exclusively.), has got a bunch of great songs and he's very attractive.
