777 million views 17 years into her career. When will our faves ?
Plus the only listenable song in existence with Meghan Trainor's (backing) vocals.

Same here in Germany. JLO is a more known name than Mariah and Celine out of the dusty divas.

Madonna and Whitney still have much bigger name recognition though.

Yeah, Jlo is that star. She's better known for her youthful looks than her music (which isn't bad). I think her hits from 1999-2002 are iconic. These were huge hits in Europe. When I was a kid I thought Let's Get Loud was her biggest hit because it was everywhere.

Jlo is definitely A List. A bonafide star.

I think J-Lo is a-list without a doubt. She is known all over the world. Sold million of albums. Toured around the world. She sang at the inauguration of Biden.

This. I mean JLO was singing live, somewhat flatly I admit back in 2002 when other artists were just walking around with snakes lipsynching

She isn’t a big talent, but she has enough in a number of disciplines to pull it all together and make it work. JLo has never been a-list in my eyes but she has some great songs, done a few decent films and knows how to put on a show.

I listened to his songs, but none of them won me over.

My most streamed current male artists are:

    1. Sam Smith
    2. Rolf Sanchez
    3. Will Young
    4. Michael Rice
    5. Duncan Laurence

Another background singer who was paid for her work. I know a fan of Britney Spears cannot have a problem with this common practice of recording

Get Right: credited background vocalists - Rudaina Haddad & Y'anna Crawley
The girl above has a nice voice, which one is she ?

( especially taking the Britney Jeans album into account where the "background" singer sang 75 percent of the albums lead vocals also. )

Love this acapella of JFTB in which JLO's lead vocal can clearly be heard at all times with Miss Ramos doing the background layer for which she received her cheque.

Incidentally this Rulebreaker Ora collab also deserved more. I really liked this track, despite the very obviously pitched vocals. I didn't even realize she was singing this for months after I'd heard it. Like they pitched her by two octaves and stripped all the tone out of her voice.

Like she sounds nothing like that live.

And it's not even on THH , an organic hit. We love to see it.

OT - I quite liked this Dua song. Plus the collab with Miguel and the one with Black Pink ( which deserved more)
Those three tracks are all I use from her first era. I tried listening to the original album and it is just woefully bad.

Oh, Scared to be lonely is good too. Forgot about that track.

Sam Smith isn't a male artist though, they are non-binary.
