Working from home I’ve explored this quite a bit and my favourite is to make a pizza using a wrap as the base. A dollop of tomato purée, load it with meat and veg and a bit of cheese, and you have a healthy pizza for lunch - really light and perfect for a lunch time.

            Maybe a nice soup?
            Like zucchini?

            • menime123 That looks delicious! I could probably make something like that under a grill and substitute the wrap base for two slices of thick wholemeal toast.

Colbie I consumed sooo much soup during Winter that I had to stop having it for a while. I was eating soup 7 days a week. I particularly love the fresh refrigerated soups from the supermarket. Sainsbury's in the UK do a delicious Spicy Tomato, Lentil & Red Pepper Soup. New Covent Garden soup is another favourite.

Not my actual picture (stole it from Google) but you get the idea. Feels naughty and nice all at the same time without having any guilt and throwing me into a food coma for the afternoon

I’ve gone off actual bread and sandwiches as of late, and it can be hard to work out what else to have for lunch - sandwiches are such an ingrained part of British culture.

My God they are delicious but slightly(!) overpriced. I rationalise paying the prices because they cut their own chips and make the burger patties from scratch on site. Also, it fills you up for the rest of the day if you get the double patty burger all the way with fries. Cajun>>>>>

You must try it once. The burgers are HUGE and delicious. I would order the standard two patty Hamburger and say 'all the way' so you get all of the free toppings, although mayo can be skipped if you wish. Then you should get the Cajun fries, 'little' size will be enough as the burger is so filling. Oh, now I want it too!

Five Guys. All the Way. Free toppings. I mean it could be the script for a cheesy porn movie LOL

                                    • I had overnight oats for breakfast - Oats, coconut milk, protein powder, coconut shavings, a dash of vanilla essence and a few raisins and white chocolate chips mixed in for sweetness.

Delicious and so filling. I don't get hungry again for at least four hours after eating this.

                                      • Five Guys say the toppings are free but when you're paying £10 for the burger and £6 for fries, I wouldn't exactly call the toppings free It is really good though.

Oh my God you must be getting the Bacon cheeseburger and Large Fries? That portion is outrageous!! I go for the Hamburger all the way without mayo(£6.95) and Little fries(2.95) which comes in at 1390(!) calories. I regret looking at the nutritional info as some of the figures for the fries are frightening.

BLT sandwich, Mango chunks and sparkling water for lunch today.

Well I share the fries with my other half, I got them for myself and it was ridiculous, like never ending fries, it felt like a full bag of oven chips
