My nana was from Ireland and she has family there, too. She came to India with her parents, who were doctors and married my granddad
    You're welcome!
That is a really interesting story. I love hearing stories like that about people who moved to different countries many years ago . Cool that you have family here! What was your nana's maiden name?[/quote:2fkl3q0f]

True! Which is why Bonn, with just over 300k inhabitants, is similar to a little town for me

haha, i live in Hamburg (1,8m inhabitants) and I sometimes even like it. Although i'm born and raised in a village of 20k ppl. But it always surprises me to walk down Mönckeberg Street (the biggest shopping street in Hamburg) and randomly walk into German or sometimes even world stars... I saw (for Germans only) Naddel at MCdonalds once.. she stood in the line next to mine. I was so shocked.. not to see her in person but that she actually eats something (for those who don't know her: please google her.. lol she's anorexic).

I also met Michael Stich once (German Tennis legend, won Wimbledon in 1991) at Saturn who asked the clerk there if they had the first season of the show: Vampire Diaries.. I laughed so loud.. then i ran away. And of course.. no one can miss her in hamburg... Sylvie Van Der Vaart... lol she was at the same playground as me when I was there with my 2 y.o. nephew.

big cities are only cool when you meet stars. lol

    sry for going off topic.

Those cities in Ruhr area are so close to each other, it's like one huge city.

    Dusseldorf is pretty nice though..
No way Cologne and Bonn are in the same league as the Ruhrgebiet ones Agree on Düsseldorf though
