WOW, you seemed to have definetely MISINTERPRETED my post big time when it came to the 'Labor Shortages' part...

WTF are you tallking about with 'contracts', who said ANYTHING about contracts? The LABOR SHORTAGE CRISIS has nothing to do with any contracts! & by the way, I work in CHILD CARE, I am a daycare teacher! So I really DONT SEE how contracts have to do with my job...

What has happened at my job during the past 2 years (& also at THOUSANDS of other companies during the past 2 years, especially here in my country, in the US,) is a real 'Labor Shortage Crisis', where companies are having a TRULY tough time finding employees because people are SO AFRAID OF CATCHING COVID that they are not currently working (& have not been working for 2 years now since the pandemic started!) & because of these companies (including where I am working at right now,) are struggling to add new staff, the current staff are working EXTRA HOURS to keep things afloat! & no it has NOT ALWAYS been like this, because I have worked at this daycare center for YEARS, & we have NEVER been in a staffing crisis like this until the PANDEMIC STARTED in 2020! So it has nothing to do with contracts & whatever else you were talking about... It has everything to do with the pandemic, & it is happening everywhere else in the world right now!

Hey I have a few questions for you all: (& please give me your MOST HONEST opinions!)

Do any of you think the Covid-19 situation will EVER GO AWAY & this pandemic situation WILL EVER END?

I have read online articles & heard on TV over the past year different possibilities when it comes to the Covid/pandemic & how/when it could possibly end (or even NOT END AT ALL in some articles I have read & news reports I have seen on TV! If I recall correctly, I think Dr. Anthony Fauci is one of the ones saying that "Covid is here to stay FOREVER & that we will have to learn to live with Covid" a few months back, I will try to find the article, or articles, I have read & post the links for you all to read...)

So what do you all think? Do you think this whole Covid/pandemic is here to stay forever or will it really end someday? & when do you think that "someday" might be, if it does end? & same with the consequences caused by the Covid/pandemic situation, such as the "LABOR SHORTAGE CRISIS" & "SUPPLY CHAIN SHORTAGES" going on? (& those are VERY REAL PROBLEMS going on thanks to the pandemic & is not getting better, ESPECIALLY IN THE US, which is where I am from!) Thanks & have a great day!

I read that some people are thinking about deleting that app for that very fact. I've come through life without that app so far...

New rules, again. Apparently, 2G (= vaccinated/recovered only) got cancelled in the retail sector, but people have to wear FFP2 instead. I hate FFP2 so while this new rule is supposed to be more inclusive, I'm not sure whether it'll lead to more people shopping.
It's crazy how so many people are vaccinated or recovered now and there's a much milder variant going around, still rules seem stricter than ever . I hate our national panic-driven politics.

Unless hospitals are getting overwhelmed I dont think the daily infection numbers are being paid attention to anymore.
Hospital admissions and ICU numbers are the two deciding factors.

Btw, Turkish president Erdogan tested positive for covid. Apparently he has Omicron and has mild symptoms.

Well, what are your expectations for that particular vaccination? This is the depending factor whether it makes sense to get it or not.

    This one is from 2012

    https://www.bbc.com/news/health-20392050

New coronavirus: May be 'bat bug'

But also the term coronavirus is an all encompassing envelope term, the strain that developed this time was the one that did the damage and that was not there way back then.

Austria have made history by being the first country in Europe to make mandatory vaccine law for everyone over 18.

The law applies to all adult residents with the exception of pregnant women, those who have contracted the virus within the past 180 days and those with medical exemptions.

Checks will begin from mid-March, with sanctions ranging from €600 to €3,600.

They will, however, be lifted if the person fined gets vaccinated within two weeks.

On the way to work, I heard that one Bild talk on that topic. They asked a couple of (older) people whether they'd get vaccinated a 4th time and surprisingly, most said 'yes'. That one older journalist said that he got 3 shots thus far (not sure whether he mentioned that he's also recovered... I know one of the journalists there is 3 times vaccinated and 2 times recovered.) and now wants to wait and see whether he really wants to get vaccinated again because he also fears that too much vaccine could mess up his immune system.
They also parodied that Howard Carpendable clip by making him get a 2nd, 4th, 6th, etc. booster shot ^^ .

On a voluntary base, I would not get vaccinated again. If it's a 'Get vaccinated or get excluded from society!' scenario, I probably would, but that would be a decision exclusively based on social and not health-related reasons - just like with most younger people.

they were working on her debut album for so long. And now she is sweeping all the grammys with all those global #1 hit viruses.

I just hope that her career follows that of Gaga or sth, so that she will be dusté with ha sophomore alberm.
