i saw these numbers: those infected are

    76% - 1x vaxxed
    67% - 2x vaxxed
    56% - triple vaxxed

At my school, Corona is xploding... in fact in GER the numbers are exponentially growing again. I expect 300k daily cases by late next week.

Well mild symptoms...one of my pupils had so much fever he was hallucinating and has no recollection of what he was doing.
I had to send another one home as she was as white as a sheet.

60 out of millions, stevyy . Of course it's sad what happened to those kids, but we need to put that number into context. But yeah, of course, in order to build up immunisation, people need to get infected - the vaccination alone won't do the trick.

Apparently, the mask rule may drop for most areas from March 20th on in Germany (source).

stevyy 's new favorite word is 'eons', it seems .

Numbers are increasing, but not 'exploding', that's stevyy speech again. Where have mask mandates got relaxed?

    -----

The mandatory vaccination in Austria was cancelled.

numbers in GER are exploding again (right now) (amidst rolling back mask mandates and vaxx rules).

incidence rates are again approaching 3,000 for students. I now personally know eons of kids who've got it twice or three times.

It’s weird not seeing folks with masks on. A gradual return to a new normal has begun and it’s going remote.

Also here in Maryland they have stopped the mask mandates last week...

Now the ONLY PLACES that masks are still mandated @ are in medical facilities (doctors offices, hospitals, urgent care centers,) & on airplanes... & like I said in my previous post, it feels great to not have a mask on @ work all day!

KEY9481 : What are the reasoms why you are unsure whether to drop the mask or not?
Personally I am VERY GLAD to be removing the mask!

Sorry but I think those flimsy masks that they sold here in my country in the United States DID NOT REALLY WORK THAT WELL! Because even though we all wore them @ work, in public places, etc... Many people that I know STILL CAUGHT COVID! & yes the vast majority of those people WERE ALSO VACCINATED! So yes I can understand the vaccines & masks & all that, but now after 2 years & that more people have been vaccinated than not, it is finally time to ditch the masks & for things to slowly go back to somewhat normal! We just all have to be careful thats all... Definitely make sure our hands are frequently washed & sanitized so to minimized the spread of germs as we should be doing anyway (even before this whole pandemic started!)

I totally understand where you are coming from. In France there are people like everywhere. So crowded always. Its insane, especially big cities.

Looks like Germany are paying the price for all the anti vaccine propaganda while the rest of Europe is living normally and have great vaccines rates. You reap what you sow I guess.

spiritboy : It would be great if you could answer the question in the previous post <3 .

    -----

The German health minister (who happens to be an attention seeker and likes to spread panic) already warns about a possible summer wave due to the virus spreading so easily, and pleads for federal states to prepare the legal possibilities so that additional measurements such as contact limits and restrictions for indoor activiities could be implemented quickly.

With 'cinemas', do you mean going in and out or also in the room where you sit to watch the movie? In my country, you don't have to wear the mask while watching the movie but before entering and after leaving the room.
