At least they're giving people enough time to make their mind up if they want to have the two vaccines before it's a requirement, they can make their choice. There's kind of a double sworded question of ethics here. On one hand, should they be bribing people into having a vaccine in order to have their freedoms (freedom we're still not fully seeing yet despite 90% of people having at least one vaccine).. on the other hand, should people who refuse to have the vaccine be free to go to places like nightclubs while the virus is still so problematic?

Don't worry he is just a simple-minded bigot who likes to put things in boxes. He prolly heard or read somewhere that working for amazon sucks and decided that that is a fact for everyone.

They will soon do it if it means not loosing the alcohol licence.

I think it is more the “alien” nature for me too, cos I was at Alton Towers last week and felt fine about being around a lot of people but that was outdoor on the whole.

Interesting timeframe. They are clearly getting things ready with the possibility of more restrictions having been brought back while allowing the fully vaccinated kings and queens of the world to enjoy a social life while the anti vaxers can stay at home in the dark.

No clue why this became so political given that this has been in use for decades.

Yeah, I know the story, vaccination doesn't prevent you from getting it, masks don't prevent you from getting it, distance doesn't prevent you from getting it. Something about Swiss cheese method. To be honest, I feel like some people enjoy this 'everything is so horrible, we're all gonna die' for some weird reason.
No thanks for me. It's time to go for an exit at some point. We survived the last 1.5 years and believe it or not, we'll all gonna die as some 90-something year old folks. With or without Covid being around ;) .

Anyway, that rule is (scientifically proven to be) pointless. There's a bigger chance to get hit by lightning than getting Covid while being outside and keeping distance. But why am I even surprised... Only yesterday I read about how German teachers got sent into quarantine despite being fully vaccinated AND wearing FFP2 in class due to one infected student. Honestly, if the virus spread that easily, all of us would've caught it 5 times by now.

There was some article the other day which had a headline that nearly 5M will have to self isolate due to the app and economists were worried it would sink recovery process.
