U.K. Politics: Nadine Dorries resigns her post as MP - or does she?
I do hope that like with 2010, these exit poll results stick.
I did wonder why when Labour were going to lose all their seats in Scotland people thought they would be the largest party. I'm disappointed if the Conservatives have actually increased their number of seats. So much for the closeness of the opinion polls
It might sound like I'm an unapologetic bitch
But sometimes you know I gotta call it like it is
I don't think IF the Tories do well it'll be because they've done a good job. This election has been the most uncertain for decades, people are not really believing in any party, and all of them are sounding very much the same. In periods of uncertainty, I genuinely feel people don't want 'change' necessarily, as that's probably more scary than keeping things as they are - thus, the exit poll results.
It's crazy really....we've just had an austerity government....Labour should be way ahead. So I can only think people couldn't bring themselves to vote for Ed Miliband

Anyway, the exit poll being as close as it was last time was probably a fluke.
I think the Conservatives' strategy over the last 5 years has been pretty good. Hopefully they will get that vindication via a win this time.
But where will the axe fall? Appreciate the cuts over the last five years haven't affected me personally so although I don't agree in the slightest with their overall ideology, it's not been a bad five years. However, that said they've catastrophically failed to deliver on any of their key election promises from five years ago, and although the right-winged media will say otherwise, debt has tripled under their watch.
If they win, I can see a very difficult five years ahead for us whilst they 'finish the job'.
Surprised by the exit poll after all the polls showed that it was so close. If it ends like this maybe it's because they don't like ed Miliband and don't trust labour with the economy. As much as I don't think everything the tory's have done I think their a safer option for the country and I feel they should be given the chance to finish the job.
scottish exit polls suggest that snp will win 334 seats which will be good
It's been a cracking election for them. I admire Nicola Sturgeon for giving people reasons to vote for her and not like the other parties who just spew out reasons to vote against all their rivals.
EVERY poll has it closer. Except for the exit poll.
I've just said YouGov EXIT poll.
The point I was trying to make - though obviously not very well - is that the BBC exit poll is the odd one out here; every other poll commissioned over the last few weeks has had it a much tighter race.
