Firstly, we can’t just have another referendum that invites 16 year olds into the mix - you’re only asking for that because the young are mostly anti-Brexit. If you don’t trust the adults who voted in the referendum to leave Brexit, why should we trust the kids to do any better?
Labour (and I am a labour supporter) doesn’t want this mess. Labour itself is a party in crisis with no MP capable of leading a government. Why is Corbyn not opposing? Because he knows he can’t do any better with Brexit and is trying to see if he can pick up a few more votes come the next election as a result of this mess.
I agree about WTO and about NI, but as Britain, we can’t let the impact of Brexit on ROI impact our decisions. They aren’t involved in this, though I accept NI doesn’t want a hard Brexit (and we must look at it from a NI approach not ROI).
If there is no appetite for a no-deal Brexit, I don’t understand why people aren’t supporting the deal on the table. It is an either/or situation. There is no alternative on offer from the EU and polls suggest that people believe that the deal on the table won’t change if May is replaced.
Today stinks of career politicians going in for the kill and has very little to do with Brexit imo.
