OSD's chart performance ran bet. 95 and 96 so it didn't accumulate enough points to become the song of the year on either of those years. other big songs received bigger points coz its run was within the year-end chart period...I think

but I think her remix was kind of late. OG was already very popular (within top 5 for several weeks) that it's difficult for GP to switch to remix. at first I thought she jumped on it just to stop Despacito from tieing OSD's record coz it's on its 15th week domination already

Ugh, I know, I love the song so much, I mean the original.
It was a matter of timing as well, not only MC public image, she jumped on the Remix way too late, French didn't promote it, even the audios were uploaded on MC channel which doesn't make sense, there was no video...
A wasted opportunity.
It would've been so different if released in 2018 when her public image did a 360 degree turn AND AT THE RIGHT TIME.

I know lambs are vert critic about her vocals on it, but personally I really like dem.
The song didn't ask for big vocals.
And MC singing along with Swae sounded amazing IMO.
