I don't know why this thought crossed my mind, but maybe because of the Angel in Disguise tweet (though I can't seem to find it now) BUT what if the Butterfly Lounge was a concept album of artists joining Mariah on one of her songs and then Mariah joins them on one of theirs? It'd be 2 duets per artist. Example: Brandy on The Roof, and then also on the album, Mariah on Angel in Disguise. Wouldn't it be cool for other artists like maybe Maxwell to be on a reimagined version of a Mariah song, but then also another reimagined Maxwell song with Mariah on it. That'd be so cool. A whole album of duet pairings.

Seems unlikely to be honest as it would take a lot of label clearance to get that to happen.

Do we currently have any confirmation that there is absolutely no inclusion of Kelly Price or Mariah's original background/foreground vocals on The Roof 2022? If the entire recording is all new, I'm just in admiration and speechlessneas, aside from the compression/mastering/tuning/mic-use that's been bothering so many for a while now. I think it may be time to find a different vocal engineer. It's doing her a dis service. She consistently always sounds better than what they've put on record lately. Please stop filtering Mariah's tone. It's so jarring and obvious. it's not flattering and her voice is so much more pleasant in every impromptu we get to hear.

stevyy +40% seems quite high, but I'd love if that would be true, then a credit won't be that far.

It also helps that OG streams are a bit down now.
I'd love to have the Remix percentage RE airplay, that would give us a better idea of how close (or not) actually is.
