I needed Portrait so badly today, and didn’t realize it until it started playing. I’ve been through it in the past two weeks, and listening to that song and IWYW was an entire therapy session.

Everyone loves Hero, and I don’t. It’s her songs about her fractured family and the effects they had on her through the years that speak to me.
