Mariah should definitely reach Diamond status with her debut (last certified at 9x platinum) and Merry Christmas (8x platinum) this year.

I am curious where Emancipation of Mimi is in terms of a new certification (it was last certified in 2006… 16 years ago). I imagine “We Belong Together” and “Shake it Off” are 2 of her most streamed songs. Suggesting that it could jump from 6x platinum to Diamond is a stretch, but maybe it has hit 8.

I think it depends on how they convert the streaming numbers of the songs. If her team demand WBT to be counted as part of the global album then TEOM is definitely Diamond.
