I don't know if folks realised that this new Christmas tour even has a new name: "Merry Christmas to All", which def means it's going to be a different show altogether from the one she used to perform.

Eversince her last show in 2019 a lot has happened, AIWFCIY going to #1, her 2 specials, Oh Santa Remix, FILAC. Its more than about time that her show got an update, I hope she enters the stage in a flying sleigh like she did in 2009 singing Sleigh Ride.

At this point, I think she has proven that there is an audience wanting to see her Christmas show. If she is able to deliver a Vegas style megaproduction onstage, she could really turn these shows into something for her. Plus, everyone enjoys little extravaganza for the holidays, which Mariah can def deliver.

Yesss so excited to see her again at MSG! I first saw her with Lionel Richie in 2017 and then again for the Xmas show in 2019. I wonder if they're holding off to see how quickly those tickets sell before adding a 2nd MSG date, IMO she could actually sell out 2 shows after being away this long.

I can't believe any lambs look down on her Xmas success, it's an annual celebration that no other artist in history has like her!

I hope she don’t forgets OSR and sleigh ride. But she’s probably gonna perform OS solo. I wish could do a mini live showcase for TV or streaming with OSR with Ariana and JHUD, FILAC w Khalid and some other live performances that we didn’t get a chance to see yet

IKR. When it comes to new music I'm more excited by non-Xmas stuff also, so I can see that. But, MC's concerts are basically a holiday tradition at this point, she rules Xmas it would be crazy for her not to do shows and release singles and that kind of thing.

11th and the 13th seems a bit late in the holiday schedule to get a special done for this year, unless it is a very "live" style event. When was the 2010 ABC special originally recorded (for comparison)?

A Christmas album and concert with all different kind of guests to make it super inclusive?

The special starting with the red dress next to the bathtub and from there saying it's time, getting dressed and suddenly being on stage at MSG. Would be great.

Oh, no doubt it could be done. It could probably be on a streaming service in just a couple days if it was shot the same way a live broadcast is and then put up on there. Timing wouldn't be too bad then, maybe the 15th or 16th or something.

So far though, I think all the Mariah TV/streaming specials have had more time in the oven, but this could just be made in a different way.
