Last year, during christmas week, Brenda was almost 2M ahead in stream when it is just spotify that gave her a lead and she only had 4 point difference with Mariah. Though latter is ahead in both sales and radio, it is not huge.

I predict 2 weeks at no. 1 for AIW and Brenda will have 1 as well likely on a week before christmas.

It was very clear Spotify started boycotting Mariah right after she had the exclusive with Apple. Brenda started to get more streams than AIW in 2020 the same year mariah made the Apple special. I can’t get that invested in whether or not AIWFCIY can make it to #1. This sh*t with Spotify feels the same as what Mariah was up against in the late 90s except the foe then was radio. There always seems to be a factor outside of her control that she has to rise above. Her sales would carry her through then and people WILL look for her on Spotify now. Mariah’s music is synonymous with this time of year. It’s cultural at this point. Brenda Lee seems to be similarly regarded (for ONE actual song, unlike Mariah) in the US but at least here in Australia it’s ALL Mariah and has been since 1994.

I think you are right.
Often, we see reality only when it is already there.

And we have seen that with all the other platforms on its side, AIWFCIY only exceeds RATCT by about only fifteen points.

RATCT is growing too quickly to not be a threat.
By Christmas week, it will overtake AIWFCIY by far on Spotify, and catch up or be very close in the other platforms.

This is exactly what I'm worried about...

One Swiftie claimed that Mariah's entire career was a fraud and then they also always repeat the Madonna-Fans claim that Mariah was unknown outside the US.

Taylor is not obsessed with chart positions. She's a sweet and talented artist. She works as hard as Mariah. She showed Mariah love multiple times. She's respectful.
