It wasn’t that deep. It’s not embarrassing but she didn’t move much.

It's amazing how people would expect her to like... have a dance routine or sth. It's like they've never seen her in their life. At the very most, MIMI is swaying and or walking from side to side. It's always been this way. People are not tuning in to her YT Japan concert videos and expect to see her break a dance during idk... Without You.

At most, she could have walked from side to side... but that wouldn't have been enough for all those who are now fainting and spewing spit anyway.

This is in no way an acceptable or ok performance. She can do SO MUCH BETTER and she should have. She is the queen of Christmas after all!

OK so in context, which I did have before reading this, it wasn’t that bad. I wasn’t aware of everyone lip syncing. What she could have done though, is at least move.. lol. Anyway, it is what it is. We all know nothing has to be that bad for Mariah to get bad press. I just hope it doesn’t affect ticket sales. I want her to sell out.. especially for the one being filmed!

Some movement lol. AIWFCIY is literally the biggest Christmas party anthem in the world.. a big gown and an umbrella perhaps weren’t the right thing for it?

She’d have been better off in some pants and that red jacket she was wearing a couple of nights ago and looking like she was enjoying herself.

And even that is pure cirumstantial and projection. She smiled, looked great, gave her best at lip synching and held her own umbrella in a dress that was not made for any human body movement. Were the others also delivering Christmas royality with their looks?

They wanted to see her move and trip, the tiara smashing on the ground, her stumbling on the loose diamonds on the ground, falling backwards on her head being impaled by her umbrella... that's what the "press" wanted.

Instead, the Godlike woman just stood there and prevented her own demise by moving as much as the costume allowed. <3 Queen of protecting her own life.

i#ve watched it and it was just incredible. The look, the actual crown with diamonds, and her giving everything at lip synching. My Queen saved us all from all bad ghosts of 2022. Sleigh on, Carey. Queen of Christmas.

The crown looked cute and so did she. Not much energy was given and it wasn't that bad as we all know it's a lip sync performance.

Well at least she showed up and the dress was very Diva Ross.

Though what is with the umbrella, seriously, it wasn't even raining that hard (or at all) and clearly was like her insurance cause she hates to move and dance.

Her best performances are the ones where she's carefree and has the freedom of movement, who is telling her that it's good just to stand still like a pot plant. I would like to have a word with her staging or production director (if she even has one).

Presenters calling her Queen of Christmas, her wearing a crown and just standing there...to me is a subtle shade to Darlene and the other woman. She'll have the title irregardless of the effort she'll put into it.

As others have been saying, it’s pure camp. She’s at a parade that features large inflatable characters (shout out to Aussie Bluey making her first appearance haha). No one sings live. She’s standing without Tanaka holding her up. She looks great. Was she lazy? Yeah. It still brought me joy.
