They should've panned out the camera more, too many closeups with the umbrella. This goes to show how lovely that dress was.

all the people who are currently fainting, are detractors and haters. Yes, it was a lip synced performance... but she gave her all at that. She wore a dress that wouldn't allow any type of movement and she was holding up a matching umbrella on her very own.

Queen of holding umbrellas.

IKR. All the performances are lip synced at this event and very few of the performers are doing much of anything, with some of them on floats for crying out loud. There was nothing wrong with this performance. People just like to hate on her for cheap clicks, it is what it is. And I say that as one of the fans that's always saying she should move around more and avoid dresses like this one. LOL

I do love the AIW performance from Disney though, that and JTTW were perfect that day.

- Love the tiara and Roc and Roe being part of the show. That was cute.

- Don’t understand the point of the umbrella… If she didn’t want her hair to be ruined by the weather do a pony tail then…

- Like the others have said, the lack of movement and energy was a bit disappointing unfortunately. I thought that being a lipped performance should give her the flexibility and confidence to enjoy the stage more. I was expecting something like the below, that she was still able to deliver a decent performance with NO live vocals at all:

why y'all expect Mariah to move during a performance? She has entourage carry her around when she walks, definitely she's gonna moves much or dances now lol.

I like the colour of the dress, it definately pops amongst the see of deep red and green.

I don't like the loose clothing of the backup dancers, looks sloppy. I prefer them with more fitted clothing, afterall most of these backup dancers have good bodies so let those kids have it.

I read all the comments before I watched the performance and I thought I’d see the worst performance ever lol
I don’t think it wasn’t that bad tbh it was festive even tho she was like a Madame Toussant wax statue but she was smiling and happy and her dancers was doing great around. I thought she’d be like the lack of energy like in the James Cordon carpool karaoke where she was with zero energy and with a bored face

I wondered WTF the Umbrella was all about - then it hit me! It was daylight outside. She hates the daylight - obvs shows too many sins. So the umbrella was nothing to do with rain or sun for that matter. It was to make sure she looked good and not showed up by over head bleak day light.

other than wondering that. I have no issue whatsoever with the performance. Nothing went wrong. She looked beautiful and happy. I have no issues.
