Anyways, I watched Hark the herald!, Joy to the world, Sleigh ride, When Christmas comes and Away in a manger and she does sound absolutely good.

That tone, damn. The fluidity. The belting comes out more naturally to her on the improptu moments or when she takes her time with it. And HELLO VIBRATO, WELCOME BACK, WE'VE MISSED YOU

After watching other clips from last night, I have changed my mind now actually. She did ease up a lot towards the end of the show, and there were a lot of great vocal moments amongst other songs. I have to be honest, I was feeling too confident of the rest of the concert after watching the clip of CBPCH but glad that she proved me wrong.

I guess she must have been very nervous, given that this is the first major concert since the pandemic. And after knowing what happened to Celine recently, I should be grateful at least Mariah is still fit and well, still out and about performing and meeting fans.

Anyway, this rendition of Sleigh Ride is excellent!!!!!!!

I was one of those asking for MYMACT without much hope and THE QUEEN DELIVERED! Her tone and control is amazing! A beautiful snippet!

I’ve listened to MYM over and over. It gives me the same feeling that performance of Love Takes Time that was recently circulating again gives. To hear her current voice fit one of her classic songs SO well. She does things with her voice in this that she just doesn’t do much now. She sounds strong. I hope she’s singing the whole song in the televised concert, not just a snippet. This choice was very successful.

Through all the ups and downs she's been through and how unreliable her voice has become over the years, she's still trying to get out there on stage and do the best that she can with what she's got.

I really love this updated Xmas show, the setlist -THANKS FOR DITCHING THE STAR, MEEMZ,- the energy and her confidence. It sure was a nice start.
