I don't think so. she released many obscure remixes with all type of guest during MC30. I don't know what's the problem with MOAIA cause she didn't have a problem with the other UMG releases. and she didn't even upgraded the music videos from that era which doesn't require clearance, it's the only era that was forgotten

Oh, I think you're spot on. It seems like they had issues for awhile. I think he cheated and she forgave him...and then it kept happening. We'll never know because she claimed Betcha wasn't based on her own life...but c'mon! Memoirs feels as much as a breakup album as Butterfly. Faded would have fit well.

It’s a Wrap is SO DESERVING of its resurgence success.
I was in the audience for the Lopez Tonight taping, and at the time, everything about the Memoirs era was underrated for its time. With the exception of Obsessed, which I think could’ve peaked even higher had there been a tighter promo strategy, I always felt so frustrated that golden records like It’s a Wrap were just not being heard by the general public at large.

Remember, Memoirs came out around the time that Gaga and Katy Perry and Taylor Swift were just sucking the attention out of everything! It’s actually one of the reasons that I love the Memoirs album so much, is that it was such a pop time in music, and Mariah was dead set on holding it down for R&B and hip-hop with Memoirs.

PS, who else is going to Lovers and Friends?! Lemme know and let’s party it up!!!

And PPS, that Ai Janet mix… it is unreal what technology can do, and especially that all this stuff has come out just in the past week and a half, I’m curious what direction artists are going to go about their likeness, whether physical or audio. Do they sue? And if so, who?
