I wish I could find my cassette tape when I recorded a mash up of Dreamlover Def Club Tribal Mix with Whitney’s Makapella Queen of the Night remix! My brother had turntables and I would buy all the Mariah Vinyls whenever we went to the record store. I still have the vinyls. I used to fool around with mixing. That mashup was my best! I also did a megamix of all her remixes at the time.

Yup and yet ANOTHER thing she rarely gets credit for. For all the talk last year about the revival of 90’s house music, I hate that many people are still unaware that Mariah was there, making that music in real time.

I wonder if anyone here, can speak to whether her 90’s house remixes were played at clubs in NYC, Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco or LA in the 90’s?? Can anybody speak to their popularity when they first came out?

Mariah's remixes, especially in the 1990s were extremely outstanding. The MIMI era also got the luxury treatment. BUT, ever since then, her remixes have mostly been awful. The only exception being the Triumphant remix ep. TTR and Loverboy were also good.

But what she offered us for the Caution songs... was offensive and straight up rude. Another indicator btw that she hates the album and era.

Those A No No mixes were trash. I'd rather her giving us dance mixes instead... like good ones.

I feel like present-day Mariah articically decreased in that respect. You wouldn't believe that current Mariah and 90s Mariah are the same artist. We get 0 effort these days. It's a shame. It makes me sad.

It's kind of sad how we have got to the point to be scared of Mariah releasing a music video. I think the biggest problem with her and her visuals is that she thinks that she only needs to look pretty and glamorous and that's not all

I wish she could prove us all wrong but in this matter I hightly doubt it lol
