It's kind of sad how we have got to the point to be scared of Mariah releasing a music video. I think the biggest problem with her and her visuals is that she thinks that she only needs to look pretty and glamorous and that's not all

I wish she could prove us all wrong but in this matter I hightly doubt it lol

Yes, while certain aspects of the WY video were good, it's still not a good video. None of the Caution videos are. Mariah needs a concept... and most of all a little bit more creativity.

How can she do videos like Breakdown, The Roof, ILT, HB and now resort to 1000000000 reincarnations of the YME video.

Give her pants... and something to do in a video.

I have to disagree. With You is the kind of music video Mariah needs more of. It’s exactly what Miley Cyrus did for Flowers but this is the slow version of it. If she finally decides to release a up tempo I hope she does something similar!

All her videos now looks like perfume ad, only beauty shots and caressing her body and doing weird faces . She’s one of the most laziest singers when it comes to making videos. Sometimes her videos makes me dislike the song more when it should to the opposite

I’d like to see Mariah and team make more interesting videos but truth is, any MC video is very unlikely to make any sort of impact at all. I just hope that she gets some traction on streaming with the new era. Caution deserved to be heard by a much wider audience than it did.

Makin impact with music video seems to be the last thing on her team's mind. Caution surely deserved better and securing playlisting and proper promotion may be the key for better streaming. We can only hope the next era has better

I hope for Mariah's next record they think outside the box a bit for videos. Seek out some aspiring new talent (raid the talent pool from campusmoviefest or something like that).

I remember there was that reality show with short films (On the Lot or something like that, Carrie Fisher was a judge) where there was a lot of creativity with small budgets from aspiring film makers. You know these folks would be tripping over themselves to have the opportunity to work on a high priority project like that as well.

Mariah's remixes, especially in the 1990s were extremely outstanding. The MIMI era also got the luxury treatment. BUT, ever since then, her remixes have mostly been awful. The only exception being the Triumphant remix ep. TTR and Loverboy were also good.

The Hate U remix is one of her best and the #Beautiful remix is pretty good -- and the Triumphant dance remixes are up there with her best IMO. I'm still pressed we didn't get a GFTO resung Morales dance remix, I wanted to hear belting GET THE F*** OUT at the clubs!

In terms of her videos the Caution era was a step up from the MIAM era, which was her worst video era by far (both cringe). All the Caution videos needed were a little more storyline and they could've been great, Mariah looked amazing and the cringe was at a minimum lol.

The "I ain't trying to be rude but you're lucky I ain't kick your ass out last weekend" at the end of GTFO is actually very similar to the funny adlibs on IAW, UOMF and other Memoirs tracks. I've said it before and I'll say it again. GTFO is a viral TikTok smash waiting to happen.

I guess I'm easy to please when it comes to Mariah. Her Caution videos are decent to me. I mean, she's never been a trend setter video-wise. Her Butterfly and TEOM eras are standouts, and she's had some real stinkers (IWTKLI anyone), but on average the majority of them are good if not great.

Story line or a big budget are real nice but not necessary. Breakdown and My All are gorgeous videos, all visual and visceral, without the bells and whistles. GTFU & With You are not at that level but beautifully shot.

Sleigh Ride is her best song/video since TMB. Fight me.

I don't think it's those videos she hated, it's most the looks (hair, dress etc) and certain shots she said she hated.

The funniest was when Mariah was on American Idol and went on and on to the contestants about taking control over her videos -- and then the #B video was awful, lol.
