It's funny that Chaka thinks than RS would give Mariah flowers for nothing. RS has been nasty towards Mariah since forever. This is one of the few times that they put her in the place she deserves

Honestly expected better of her. This is even more than being disappointed about her Mariah,Adele etc comments. Never would I want Mariah to become this bitter and delusional

Yeah, that’s not what I said and I certainly wouldn’t equate comments relating to a list ranking singers to “people spitting racist comments” either.

On a lighter note... I am really enjoying IAW getting some love, and while I would love it to enter the HOT 100, the fact that is charting at all for the first time, really makes me so happy!

Ain't Nobody is one of my all time favs. Shame on Chaka for the snarky comment. I do feel sorry for Mariah. There is too much competition and envy between too many of the legendary divas. They should be gracious supportive and proud of the younger generation that idolizes them.

Well, she has the reputation of being brutally blunt. A lot of the time it's funny. This fell flat and just sounds bitter when she could have congratulated a fellow diva getting overdue recognition.

The thing about that RS list is that they emphasized that it was not about the greatest "voice" but most influential singers. When it comes to influence, it's hard to find any one greater than Mariah over the last 33 years.
