It was the only song from the debut I didn't really care for at first. A friend of mine bought the VHS "The First Vision" and seeing her perform it a capella... well, that made me finally fall in love with this song.

I believe Mariah always creates, she just doesn't release as often as before. this has been the new standard for a lot of artists from her time and obviously for her as well.

Re: Tanaka… I think we all have to take into consideration that outside of Mariah he has a job in choreography and creative directing. There’s a shit ton of tours taking place this summer and this is the first year that more than 50% of people can agree we’re through the pandemic so people can actually work again. I don’t think that they’ve broken up.

I don’t think that they’ve broken up.
