I've always wondered something? If an artist charts multiple songs in the top 10 on the Billboard hot 100 Simultaneously, does each song count towards their weeks on the hot 100 separately or does it count as one week that they're on the Billboard hot 100 top 10? Example if an artist charts 5 songs in the top ten and they stay there for 5 weeks. Do they get credited for 5 weeks in the top 10 or 25?I love all things Mariah. DAAAAHHHHLING!!!!

Thank you. It amazes me how streaming has changed how we view charting and what is considered successful impact. It changed the game. So many artists are having success that otherwise wouldn't with streams with slight few exceptions(Taylor Swift, Adele, and depending on the record Beyoncé; can sell without it) It's astonishing to me.
When I was a kid, I bought my favorite 45 singles and albums and I played them until I wore them out, then bought another. Later I did the same with cds. That is how I "consumed" my music. But Billboard did not and could not count that consumption. Imagine if they had. Streaming is the equivalent now, while actual sales are nearly irrelevant, personal consumption via streaming can be and IS counted.
It's a totally different standard of measurement.
Still, I am happy that Mariah has experienced enormous success in both the physical and digital eras.
