Yes, it’s been around and I love it too. It’s been a steady streamer on my playlist.

I have it on my playlist for some time now. Don't remember since when.Blessed to say I've seen Mariah live 8x, Madonna live 8x, Céline Dion live 8x and many others once or a few times.

I mean, I'm active and do have high energy bursts for that odd project, but I hustled my @ss off in my 20s to 40s so I could slow down and enjoy the fruits of my labors at this point in life, especially my family. I'm not in retirement, and still work, but the pace and ambition has changed. I'm definitely in a new space.
I suspect Mariah is in the same space, to some extent. And as a mom of twin preteens you prioritize differently. I was there a few years ago. Mariah worked her @ss off for 30+ years and seems to have come to embrace her status as an artist in her legacy years. She's reaping all kinds of fruits, not just from her Christmas catalog, but her whole catalog, as we see from new songs like BE(R) and viral moments like IAW. There will be a lot more of that...
No doubt she's still working, but at her own pace based on her own priorities. She looks as good and happy as I've ever seen her and that's more important than hustle at 53. So many of her peers are gone or haven't aged to well at all. I'm so proud of her and happy for her. She's a remarkable woman who deserves our respect. I'm also, with all of you, waiting anxiously for something new. It'll come. In the meantime, she's always serving us tidbits here and there. I'm enjoying the latest, the Circles dance remix.
Be patient lambs and cut the Queen some slack. She's not a hungry 20 or 30 year old career driven artist now. She shouldn't have to be that at 50. Let her set the pace and enjoy her life.#mariahcarey #lambforlife

I had a strange dream last night.
It was bittersweet.
I dreamt that Mariah released a new version of C(BPCH) as a duet version with Whitney.
And there was a video too... footage from over the years of them performing together.
From where were Whitney's vocals I don't know... but in my dream it was a big deal, with everyone talking about it. Very bittersweet.MESMARIAHSING!

I saw Diplo yesterday in Barcelona. I was in awe with some of the remixes he played, so I thought he definitely could bring back Obsessed by Mariah. If done well, Obsessed could make a comeback. Besides, the song is an anthem, everyone knows it. I went a little further and ask him via Instagram lol. Maybe something clicks for him and we have a new obsessed version playing all around the world to big masses of people in these festivals where Diplo use to play.

Obsessed is a bop and I’m glad it had it’s time but I could do without another revival.
In fact I think I’m in the minority maybe but I’m not really a fan of her having success by any means necessary.
I liked what happened with Big Energy because it was a fresh take on one of her songs and seemed organic.
I would love success on some new material potentially a feature.

A song that screams for a remix is GTFO. It’s very mellow and I think with a harder beat and faster tempo could get some more interest. The lyrics are very quotable and could go viral

I love how well IAW has performed so far. On Saturday it surpassed 40 million streams and it is her 10th biggest streaming song from the 2010s decade now.
I agree. I think it is so cool when an obscure songs gets a revival instead of an established hit. But I'll take any revical if I'm honest. My Chart

EVEN Germany, guys.
When I bought the album in 2001 in a shop, a group of guys yelled at me that I should die of AIDS.
So, EVEN Germany.
Einstein was more local to the Anglosphere. But Glitter was a global event at the time.
Unfortunately, it took Mariah a good 2 more years to respond by putting the album on streaming services. Another bonafidé example of how THEY messed up even that. Five years later, we are still waiting for the Glitter videos. I can't at this.
I hope the responsible people for this have been fired and have to work at a fast food chain now (minimum wage ofc).My Chart
