Faded is a great album track but would have gone nowhere on the charts.

The biggest annoyance in the song for me is the slight pause for the chorus to come in… it doesn’t come in on the beat… I don’t know why they did that but it’s not clever lol. It would make such a big difference if it came in when it should. It would just flow better.

Well it was #1 on the US Dance Club charts. #88 on the US Billboard Hot 100. So yeah, flopped pretty much.

Definitey there. I also agree with whoever said some of the layers and backgrounds are too loud. Mariah usually has that stuff done so meticulously that usually it has to be like deconstructed to even hear clearly, on this track it is all very front and centre. Especially that bridge lord.

Not really as a big chunk of that would just be seen as spamming and would be discounted. Also some lambs bought up to ten copies plus concert tickets and merch which also includes albums. I would say she had 35k unique buyers at most.
