According to the website for the alcoholic drink, Black Irish in stores now and is available in three flavors - Original, White Chocolate, and Salted Caramel

The Original blend is described as a "rich luxurious liqueur with aromas of freshly roasted coffee, milk chocolate, and warm spices", meanwhile, White Chocolate is said to be "silky, creamy, and smooth" with a "slightly more refined and subtle chocolate flavour".

The Salted Caramel blend is described as "rich and creamy with sweet buttery notes of caramel and a touch of salt."

The Salted Caramel sounds deliciosa !!

Sometimes, Mariah does a disservice to herself with a missed strategy… Exotic beach, full gown in a sand, clearly not a very professional photo… all for an irish cream… not sure an average buyer would think “oh iconic” at the store

Yeah, she does. It was on the market but not sure it sold! She was on a yacht through The Bahamas though so she could have stopped off at any point or it could have been elsewhere. She’s been so quiet.

They don’t care if she’s joking they don’t have time nor do they want to think she’s any different cause it’s so ingrained now in the media and their psyche.

I think you're overthinking this. She evidently knows her audience, hence the image used, but this one post isn't for the GP / casual consumer at all - it's straight to her fans.

Your average Karen who's hosting a dinner party for Ella's friend's mum and dad won't have seen the post; she'll most likely just be perusing Tesco on a Thursday and take a punt on a new after-dinner tipple and think nothing else of it.

The 'Mariah' branding of the product is subtle and going into retail it'll sell based on the positioning / POS / general word of mouth that it's a decent bottle. Same goes for the likes of the Kylie range of wines or even Graham Norton's, though I'd argue the celebrity endorsement is stronger across the brand on those.

And I agree, not everything is iconic.

One of Mariah's essences is being campy, funny and sometimes "silly" not taking herself so seriously. Since day 1. If you watch interviews or whatever since 1990 she was like this. It's part of her, being extra just for laughs

Mariah is camp, that's one of the reasons we love her. It perfectly suits her, and, even more, complemnts the musical genious that she is for us - the die hard fans.
And at this stage of her life, that's what matters. The real fans, the loyal following. That's how you solidify your legacy. It really is the best you can do. Chasing new hits and GP popularity is never going to work.

Furthermore, Mariah should play up her gay diva image much more! I'm noticing she's been losing her prominence, or presence for that matter, in the gay meme universe.

So if mariah thinks I’ll buy her stuff and spend my hard earnt money on her eventhough I won’t drink it and will probably just be in the fridge unopened.. then she’s probably right.
