there’s something about Dionne Warwick that doesn’t sit well with me, yes she’s written and sung some memorable songs but her voice is very unremarkable. It’s a sort of husky flat singing that to me just screams ordinary against the vocal powerhouses like the vocal trinity. Also I don’t find her singing warm at all.

I don’t know how I feel about her social media shenanigans , it could be genuine but a lot of it is very Baity for this generation which doesn’t seem too genuine. If she has had that sort of character why haven’t we seen it all these decades until know

you know Mariah is genuine when she’s been real with her fans all along. It’s the bloody media that warps things which angers me very much because they’ve created false perception of hers which has stuck

Brandy is a good singer I don’t think she’s great nor anywhere near trinity. People give her too much props for vocal layering when Mariah does it so much better with more precision and creativity

yeah it’s been tracking behind the past month. Doesn’t bode well for breaking the record again but clearly it seems last year was exceptional.

though hopefully it’s legs are much better this chart season
