Does anybody actually know My All? I have a few casual Mariah fan friends and they never mention or play it. I'd say Butterfly is a little bit forgotten if anything. Dreamlover and It's Like That are probably better known that anything from Butterfly

I think my US people will agree, Always Be My Baby is likely Mariah’s most recurrent hit. My local radio stations probably play it more than her other songs and it’s a karaoke standard. It falls in that 90s pop classics list along with some of those big boy band/Britney hits.

All For You had US radio in a chokehold in 2001. Very similar to WBT in 05. Every station, every hour.

Signature Tier = That's The Way Love Goes, Together Again, Rhythm Nation (lacks the chart success though)
Global Hits Tier = Scream, All For You,

I Think Janet's the toughest to classify. Rhythm Nation I just had a look and whilst it's definately a signature song it didn't actually perform that well like say All For You globally. but it was a look and sound movement that was more progressive than say an All For You. All For You I think can be traded between Signature and Global Hits Tier, i think it's somewhere in between.

Janet out of all the ladies has the weakest global discography.

I started paying attention to her with All for You! And pf course everything from that era: Doesn’t really matter, Someone to call my lover, and Son of a Gun (amazing song).
Feedback was ok, i like it, but i hardly play it.

there’re two albums i play most of the time. Those would be Damita Jo and 20.Y.O. My fave from her for a while has been Enjoy. That songs was one of my most played songs last year

I dont know why are we soo deep discussing Janet, but we love her! Her Control - All for You series of albums is unparalleled! She is definitely an underrated legend, eventhough her international recognition comes from All for You, Together Again and primarily, SCREAM (aka the best collaboration of all-time).
