Yeah to confidence, but not rest-rest (as not sing-sing ), she needs to keep her instrument warmed up.
But she's always in the studio, so that's no problem.
Whatever routine she's doing these days for her vocals, it's working

Also I think Mariah being in a great place mentally really helps a lot.
First opening about her bipolar disorder and then the book, that was cathartic.
She went and re-visited those darker places to shine bright now, she's been going through a healing process since late '17 and it shows <3

Yeah, Whitney always looked super confident on the stage (even when her voice wasn't there AT ALL) and like a super strong woman. But she was so vulnerable in the inside. Poor thing, I love and I miss her.
Mariah is the opossite, she looks like this fragile campy butterfly, but in the inside she's so determined, resilient and sharp.

Anita Baker posted last week that she is fighting for her masters and asked fans not to stream/buy her music until it's returned. She cited that after 30 years (or so) the law requires that they be returned to her, but that the 'powers that be' are fighting her about it.

This, of course, gets my mind thinking about MC and her masters given that she has crossed that 30 year point and, if correct, her masters from Sony, should begin to be returned to her. We havent heard much about this from MC's side so I wonder the status of this and if she will have to go through similar fights with Sony.

You know someone is a beautiful soul when Mariah invests so much time into keeping their legacy alive in concerts, interviews etc.

I miss Whitney and people give Bobby a hard time (and the guy is a pr!ck) but if it weren’t him, there would have been another Bobby Brown... her troubles were deep rooted. So, so sad

I wouldnt get too hung up on tv ratings tbh. People watch shows differently now. They could watch it many days later, for example. Clips from a show may be seen 10s of millions of times more on youtube or facebook. That's not counting memes, social media chatter, etc etc.

IMO, it is still worth getting the exposure of those millions of people.

I prefer the Nirvana's unplugged too....but Mariah's one was special coz she totally put down to rest all those doubters that questioned her voice and all...

Yeah, then when you can pick and choose the bits you want to watch on various other services its like a streaming service.

I mean lord above the fact that ANYONE sits through three hours of the Grammys with a ten minute ad break every 5 mins is amazing to me. IT was never an entertaining show to watch in full. I had a persicope stream on in the background which I had muted half the time and I just caught the performances I wanted to see. Then I rewatched some performances and acceptances of awards.on youtube. Thats how many people do it these days
