I have actually been wondering if there might be no actual remnants of Fantasy whatsoever... what if Mariah just wrote a whole new song complimenting BE to the Tom Tom Club sample. Technically this could be a whole new potential #1 only using the same sample. This could be really interesting.

The only thing Latto said is that the remix has an old-school vibe, a thing we love.

Latto seems to be genuinely thrilled about having a Mariah collaboration... she has been very active posting on social media regarding the remix. We may have gained a powerful new ally. This is going to be a great year for the lambs.

They can add as many verses as they want i think or sing something not related to fantasy in terms of lyrics, but the structure of the song in terms of music must be the similar, and the sample is still there so thats fine. Thats what i understand

I was on FOMM from 1999 to... maybe 2002/3? I would have missed you then. Once I joined here in 2005 I never looked back, but I definitely remember Liron (from FOMM as well as Mariah Daily) and the name Lynn.

I hope so. I’m not a fan of Beyonce, but she really elevated Savage with that remix. I started listening to it cause I loved the remix. It’s so well done.
