Wonder why she rarely uses echo/reverb in her concerts or recording sessions. Personally speaking sometimes her vocals could sound a bit “harsh” or “dry” especially when listening to them through a headphone, which is not the case at all. Using a dry microphone couldn’t 100% capture the “magic” and texture of her voice at all. I would always prefer echoed/reverberated mixing of her natural voice rather than those thin and processed chipmunk vocals making her sound like 12.

I wanted to love the 7 min version so bad. And the whistles sound stunning. But I just don't love it. I'd have preferred an extended version of the song rather than her just repeating we belong together over and over again at the end

the 2nd part shows how great Mariah is as musician and singer ...

the 1st part has too much cut and paste , in the climax there are even 4 edits in one line .

At night I just had to listen to it. My husband and I were gone off to bed already, but I was so curious what she had done to the last four minutes. And I am glad to say we both love this version!
