4. Supernova
5. Your Disco Needs You
6. Slow/Love To Love You Baby
7. Can’t Get You Out Of My Head
8. All The Lovers (with Dannii Minogue)
She nailed the end notes of YDNY.
The mix of CGYOOMH was great, wish she’d done that version at Glastonbury.
All The Lovers really is a momentous song.
SLOW yes, let's give that song a little more love. And her duet with Dannii, loved it. WHY didn't they release an absolute banger together? Instead of that 100 Degrees song.
I was there in the audience last night which was my first time seeing Kylie. It was so good and worth the wait! The setlist was almost perfect but Slow was a little out of place, but I know she loves it.

Wanted to say that More More More is such a GREAT album opener. It perfectly sets the tone to what is about to follow. Really an amazing choice as an album opener.

I don't know why I have problems finding some of Kylie's threads even when googling. Now I couldn't find the Kiss me once album thread. Is there a way to easily and effectively find threads in Ukmix?
Just wanted to mention that after all these years Sexy Love finally clicked with me! It sounds so fresh now and sounds like something that artists would release now.
Also Sparks, the japanese bonus track, is one of the best things she's done in the 2010s. What a SHAME this ended up being a forgotten bonus track!!!

Been down an 80s Kylie rabbit hole lately. Her debut remains one of the strongest in her catalogue but I’ve grown quite fond of the four albums as a whole as the output really is strong.
Part of me wonders what would have happened had Kylie not pulled off one of the biggest comebacks in music in 2000. Nostalgia is such a huge commodity now there would have definitely been a place for her to tour her 80s material (and probably anniversary tours for the 90s stuff) but I wonder how she would have otherwise spent the last twenty three years?

Back in the day More More More and Give It To Me were my all-time favourite Kylie songs. Followed by Fever thanks to that iconic performance in the UK.
Revisiting Aphrodite and thirteen years later I still don’t understand what the fuss is all about
All The Lovers is one of my favourite Kylie songs, but the rest of the album is all a bit repetitive. Closer is pretty good too.
Been revisiting X too and it remains a mixed bag but there’s a strong album in there somewhere. The One remains the standout song for me. Sensitized is a pretty strong track too. I think my favourite is Magnetic Electric though.
Hopefully at some point Kylie will do a reissue project and release all of the leftovers from her various eras. I remember X having a boatload of leftovers, and even this new album is rumoured to be getting reworked.
Any recommendations for diving deeper into her discography? I adored “Disco” and feel like there could be more Kylie music that I enjoy. Apart from “Disco”, I only know her (famous) singles and that’s it. Her discography seems a little overwhelming and I don’t wanna listen to a random album and maybe get a wrong first impression.
What albums are the most similar to “Disco” (simply uplifting, catchy bangers) and also stand the test of time as in they still sound (somewhat) modern and aged well? Happy to hear your recommendations or simply your favorite albums/songs

Maybe just start with her Step Back In Time greatest hits album, and see which songs stand out - then try the parent album?
If you like Disco then you’ll probably enjoy Fever, which was a 2001 version of creating a modern pop/disco album. It has the advantage of containing some of her biggest singles too, so you probably know half of the album anyway.
After that I’d suggest Light Years which was essentially a pop party album, but if you wanted to start at the very start, her debut is a very solid effort too.
Basically, her 80s stuff is very 80s, the 90s were her experimental years, the 00s her blockbuster albums era, and then the 10s her genre albums era.
